Isadore Small, 93, of White Oak, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at UPMC East. Born in Czechoslovakia, September 10, 1922, son of the late Samuel and Rayla Smilivitz. Husband of the late Phyllis Bird Snyder Small, he is survived by his son, Steven Laib Small of White Oak, daughter, Rachel Dena Small of White Oak, and by 2 grandchildren, Akiba Small and Sara Small, both of White Oak. He was a member of the Congregation Gemilas Chesed and Café Europa, a holocaust survivors group. He was the owner of Phyllis’ Jeans and Apparel, and Phyllis’ 51 Market. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the original Gemilas Chesed Cemetery, Center Street, Versailles Borough with Rabbi Moshe Russell officiating.
