Dwayne Ring, 54, of West Newton, PA, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018. He was born July 9, 1963, in McKeesport, PA. He graduated from Yough High School in 1981. Dwayne worked at North Bay Construction, and was also a Maintenance Planner for Morton Salt, in Ohio. His survivors include his father, Lawrence G. (Martha) Manns of Medina OH; children, Mitchel Ring and Chelsea Smith; sisters, Shary Ring, of Middleburg Heights, OH, Debbie Collins (Ned), of Latrobe, PA; brother, Peter Manns (Lindy), of Westfield, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene A. (Barker) Manns; sister Marci (Manns) Farnsworth, and biological father, Robin E. Ring.

Alexander (Alex) J. Semchak, 96, of Greenock, Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018 surrounded by his beloved son, daughter, and close family friends. He was born on June 5, 1921 in McKeesport, and was the son of the late Georgius and Maria (Cybak) Semchak. Alex, a WWII Veteran, proudly served his country as a Captain in the US Army Signal Corps. His distinguished military service was acknowledged by the many commendations he received including the following: American Campaign Medal-WWII, American Defense Medal with Bronze Star-WWII, Army Good Conduct Medal with Bronze Two Knot Device, European-African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal, and the Army Presidential Unit Citation. It was during his 4 year tour of duty in Europe that he met and married the love of his life, Valerie (Ludgate) Semchak. Alex was well known due to his membership in numerous social clubs including the following: White Oak American Legion Post 701, Elizabeth Township Ex-Serviceman's Association in Boston, Sutersville Moose Lodge 1358, Order of the Owls Nest 1649, Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Co, Croation Club and Croation Men's Club Lodge 146 in Versailles, 11th Ward Welfare Association in McKeesport and the WMBU in Blythedale.

Patricia A. "Patsy" Christeson, 79, of Elizabeth Township, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at home with her children and her dog, Lucy by her side. She was born December 10, 1938 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Skiffington Martin. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. "Chris" Christeson who died August 23, 2007. They were married for 46 years. She was a member of the former St. Pius V Catholic Church in McKeesport and the Kiwanis Club. She was an amazing seamstress that could design, sew, or make anything and everything. She began sewing when she was 5 years old and making alterations on people's clothes before she was 10. She always said that we could take away her car, but not her sewing machine. She handmade her grandchildren's Christening and Baptismal gowns which are even more cherished now. She was happiest at her family built cabin in Cameron County, with her late husband, children and grandchildren where she enjoyed hunting, fishing, sewing and making items with wood (furniture, cedar chests and chairs) with many going to family or friends. She is survived by children, Michael (Carol) Christeson of Washington, Daniel (Roberta Walk) Christeson, Paul "Toby" (Jamie) Christeson and Kristine (Jack) Cant of Elizabeth Township. "G" spent a lot of time with her grandchildren, Jess Cant, Kaitlyn, Pearl, Kaylee, and Alfred Christeson. She is also survived by her brother, James "Mickey" Martin of Winterhaven, Florida, sister-in-law, Dee Martin of North Huntingdon, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wayne Cramer, 91, of Elizabeth Township, died Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was born April 20, 1926 in Elizabeth and was the son of the late Albert Cramer, Sr., and the late Margaret Rothey Cramer. He and his late brother Albert owned and operated the former Cramer Brothers Marine in Elizabeth. Wayne and Albert loved Muskie Fishing in Canada. He is survived by his wife, Hazel J. Chaussinand Cramer, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert and his wife Veronica Cramer, Jr.

Dolores Marie “Dolly” (Mihalic) Gondos, 81, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was born June 13, 1936 in Donora and was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary A. (Kosko) Mihalic. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Christy Park. Dolly was a retired Library Aide for the Elizabeth Forward School District and had previously worked for US Steel and Columbia Gas in Donora. She enjoyed her ladies card club, working crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and NCIS, and trying to figure out the clues to where the Daily News Easter Egg was hidden. She was an avid Steelers and Notre Dame fan. She loved holiday get-togethers with family, beach vacations in Outer Banks, NC, and the annual Gondos family reunion. In her younger days, she enjoyed canning tomatoes and making the best pizza sauce around – her recipe was even published in the local newspaper!

Mildred "Smilja" Blagovich, 103, of McKeesport, died Monday, January 29. 2018. She was born November 11, 1914 in West Wilmerding and was the daughter of the late Nikola and Sava Kosich Zivkovich. She was the wife of the late Michael "Miso" Blagovich, Jr. They were married for 63 years. Mildred was the oldest member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and its Sisterhood, Kolo, Serbian National Federation Lodge 7, and was a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star. In 2016, Smilja was awarded Person of the Year by the Serb National Federation. She was a retired Head Cook at McKeesport High school and had 17 years of service there. She had also worked at the former Holiday House in Monroeville. She is survived by her daughter, Melva Jean (Richard) Buzzelli of Penn Hills, grandchildren, Michael A. Makatura of Orlando, FL, and Kimberly A. Miller of North Huntingdon, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, East McKeesport and worked at the Penn State Greater Allegheny McKeesport Campus for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Penn State University. She will be missed by her only sister, Linda (Dan) Bazylak of Destin, FL, and nieces, Danielle (Chris) Bazylak Fettig and their children, Christian and Weston of Meadville, and Sarah (Justin) Bazylak Dickey and their children, Charlie and Jenna of Atlantic. He was the husband of the late Maryann Betz Davis who died November 13, 2017. They were married for 53 years. Michael was a 1955 graduate of the former St. Peter High School in McKeesport and was a US Army Veteran. He was a Group Leader at US Steel Irwin Works and retired after 40 years of service. He was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport and Calvary Chapel of South Pittsburgh. He was also a member of the Port Vue and White Oak American Legions and the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. He is survived by his sons, Paul M. (Debbie) Davis of Pennsville, NJ, and Christopher A. (Alycia Albis) Davis of Charlotte, NC, daughter, Susan A. (Ron Hunt) Davis of Port Vue, grandsons, Christopher A. Davis, II, and Jason B.
