Joann B. Gajdzik, age 80, of McKeesport, died April 15, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born June 12, 1940, in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Spencer) Costa, and the loving wife of the late George P. Gajdzik, Sr., for 55 years.  You could always find Joann with a book reading a western romance novel.  Her sharp wit and intelligence would be on full display while watching Jeopardy with her family.  She always sounded off before anyone else with the answers.  Joann also enjoyed playing scrabble and pinochle.

Robert A. Santiago, age 81, of White Oak, passed peacefully March 12, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born October 3, 1939, in Homestead, PA, he was the son of the late Phillip Santiago and Mary (Villarreal) Santiago-Sawyer. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Bob retired from Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth, where he worked in maintenance and transportation. He also worked as a foreman at US Steel Duquesne Works. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
