Thomas A. Feltz, age 67, of West Mifflin, died May 28, 2017, at his home. Born November 18, 1949, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Stephen and Helen (Wargovich) Feltz and the husband of Sandra (Gabris) Feltz, on May 21, 2017, they celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Tom was retired from the Social Security Administration, where he worked as a claims representative. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Tom was also a US Army veteran. He enjoyed caring for his fish aquariums and his kitty cats. He especially enjoyed trips to Disney World with his loving wife. Tom was always there to lend an ear or a hand.
In addition to his wife, tom is survived by siblings, Gloria Melinchak of White oak and Patricia Vasko of North Versailles; niece, Michele (Jon) Dobrinski of Irwin; great niece and nephew, Jared and Macie Dobrinski; mother-in-law, Dorothy Ivan of White Oak; father-in-law, August Gabris of Duquesne; many cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul Vasko.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be celebrated Friday, June 2, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Fr. Matthew Elanjileth will officiate. Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at Corpus Christi Church at a later date.

Naomi Elizabeth Karr Clutter

Naomi Elizabeth Karr Clutter, age 89, of Clairton, died May 28, 2017, at home. Born August 8, 1927, in Herminie, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (Rosensteel) Mellinger and the wife of the late Francis Clutter.
Naomi dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a kind hearted soul and was loved by all. Naomi was truly the matriarch of the family and will always be remembered for her caring nature. She was best known as “Gram,” to everyone that knew her. She was a member of the former Christian Missionary Alliance, in Herminie and Clairton.
Naomi is survived by children, Dorcas “Dee” Smith of Clairton, John W. (Starlene) Karr of Richmond, VA and James R. Clutter of Clairton; granddaughter, Amy Menanno; great grandchildren, Mariah and Nolan; sisters, Hazel Proctor and Darlene Kunkle both of Irwin; brother-in-law, Russell (Joni) Karr of Evanstown; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Philip) Comini of Herminie; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and second husband, she was also preceded in death by first husband, Walter Karr; daughters, Cheryl, Mary Katherine and Brenda; siblings, Donna, Howard (Alice), Arthur (Isabelle) and Ethel (Richard).
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Cremation Services on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Noon, in the funeral home chapel. Linda Lee Roberts, age 70, of Glassport, died May 26, 2017, at home with her loving family by her side. Born March 26, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Robert Saunier and Edna Hogle and the wife of Don Roberts. Linda retired from South Western Medical Center, where she was a billing and registration secretary with over 20 years of service. She was a member of the Glassport United Methodist Church. She looked forward to socializing at the VFW in Clairton on Friday nights, followed by dinner with Don. Linda and Don were truly inseparable.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Lisa (Greg) Ploskina of Glassport, Roman Nowicki of San Diego, CA and Donny Roberts of Glassport; grandson, Jordan Ploskina of Glassport; siblings, Bob (Patricia) Saunier of White Hall, Joy Hogle, Nancy Eisel both of Mt. Washington, Will Hogle of Pittsburgh and John (Gloria) Hogle of Pittsburgh.
She was also preceded in death by siblings, Maryann Finch and Henry Hogle.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.

Samuel J. “Sam” Oliverio, age 66, of McKeesport, died May 26, 2017, at home. Born April 2, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Samuel and Betty (Toll) Oliverio. Sam was retired from the City of McKeesport, where he was a operator/mechanic, with over 30 years of service. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School, Class of 1969. Sam then attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Teamsters Local 205 and the American Turner’s Club. He enjoyed old cars, bowling and most of all spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Sam is survived by a daughter, Shannon (Butch) Suba of McKeesport; grandchildren, Cailyn and Spencer; brother, John (Debbie) Oliverio of North Versailles; niece, Jonelle (Sam) Dini of Greensburg; many cousins and dear friends.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 7 p.m.

Helen Miltenberger, age 45 of McKeesport, formerly of Johnstown, died May 15, 2017 at home. Born February 16, 1972 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of Alan and Sheila (Dunn) Miltenberger. Helen was a generous and giving person to everyone she knew. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family and grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Tyrone, Chanelle, Shawn (Danielle), and Chad Brookins; grandchildren, AraBella, Aria, Je’Lai, Wayne, Kayne, Ma’Lon, Nadia, and Lynell; nephew, Josh Farrior; and step-children, Latesha (Wayne Burnam) Brookins, Cedric Brookins, and Taymesha Smith. Jacob Daniel “Snake” Cipriani, age 26, of Port Vue, died May 12, 2017. Born May 23, 1990, in Port Vue, he is survived by his parents Fred and Deborah (Kaminsky) Cipriani. Jake was currently the installation manager, for his brother Luke’s heating and air conditioning company, L. Cipriani Heating and Cooling. He loved to fish, tend the campfire and working with his hands. Jake was always so giving of himself, always there to lend a hand, recently completing remodeling of his brother Luke's house and was currently helping his brother Josh remodel his new home in Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents, Jake is survived by brothers, Luke (Kelsey) Cipriani, nephew, Dominic all of Port Vue and Josh Cipriani of Belle Vernon; paternal grandfather, Fred Cipriani, Jr. of Glassport; aunts, Sandie (John) Parrish of Winterville, OH, Jan (Dave) Snyder of Delmont and Donna (Gregory) Rollins of Grand Island, NY; also many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Delores Cipriani; maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Kaminsky; aunt, Tori Cipriani.  In Jake's words, "If I die, don't even cry, pour a beer out for me. Jean E. Moran, age 97 of Liberty Borough, died May 14, 2017 at home. Born April 9, 1920 in Dravosburg, she was the daughter of the late Hardy and Margaret (Schuch) Sellers, and the sister of the late Harry Sellers. She was the wife of the late Arvid “Bee” Moran who died March 18, 1998. Jean was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Douglas Business School. She went on to work in the Tabulating Department of Westinghouse Air Brake Co. in Wilmerding and G.C. Murphy Co. Home Office. Jean was one of the oldest members of the Liberty Presbyterian Church and Sunday School Class, and was also a member of the Senior Sonshiners of the First Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ron Oleska of McKeesport; and several nieces. There will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ray Beard will officiate. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Twp.  Phyllis R. Johnston, age 90 of White Oak, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home. Born July 11, 1926 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Leon F. and Irene R. (Pratt) Ryan, and loving wife of Charles “Bob” Johnston for 66 years of marriage. Phyllis was a graduate of McKeesport High School, and following graduation she began working for Bell Telephone as an operator until she began her family. She was an outstanding mother who dedicated her life to caring for her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love for teaching and helping her family through school was one of her biggest accomplishments and passions. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Cheryl L. (Reed) McGraw of Monroeville, Maryl L. Higgins of White Oak, and Rebecca A. (John) Kielar of North Versailles; grandchildren, Reed, Amanda, Jeremy, Zachary, Carla, Derrick, Aaron, and Terra; great-grandchildren, Noah, Madyson, Aubre, Olivia, Charlotte, Xavier, and Tea; sister, Glenda (Jack) Roberts of White Oak; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron DeLandro; great-grandson, Charles R. Mihaljevic, and great-grandson, Baby Angel King. Harry E. Lanauze, MD

Harry E. Lanauze, MD, age 91, of Lincoln Borough, died May 7, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Born August 11, 1925, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Domingo and Hilda (Minor) Lanauze and the husband of Helen (Szymela) Lanauze, for over 46 loving years.
Harry was a retired physician with his family practice based in McKeesport for over 53 years. He was a McKeesport Hospital emergency room physician for over 20 years and practiced medicine there until 2011. Additionally, Harry was a staff doctor at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center, for over 25 years. He was a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Airforce, serving during WWII. Harry completed the Tuskegee Institute Division of Aeronautics 66th Army Air Forces Flying Training Detachment, September 11, 1945.  He was a Tuskegee Airman, flying the “Red Tail,” P-51, Mustang. He became a Biology professor after his military service, at Fort Valley State University. Harry then continued his education and received his medical degree from Meharry Medical School, in Nashville, TN. Harry was a humble man despite all his life’s accolades, he truly was self-less, from his military service to dedicating his life to caring for the families of McKeesport for over 50 years.
 In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by children, Dottrele Soffee of Richmond, VA, Harry Lanauze, Jr., of Knoxville, TN, Johil Lanauze of Memphis, TN, Karlyn Coward of McKeesport, Angela (Matt) Moran of Elizabeth and Leslie (Chris) Strub of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by siblings, Domingo and Jose Lanauze.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A blessing service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Fr. Daniel Straughn will officiate.

Phyllis J. Herrera, age 94 of Monroeville, formerly of Christy Park, died May 5, 2017, at Manor Care in Monroeville. Born August 6, 1922, in Cambridge, OH, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Corbet) Barthalow and loving wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Herrera.
Phyllis dedicated her life to caring for her family. In her earlier years, she loved hand crafting beautiful afghans for all of her family. Additionally, she always enjoyed working word search puzzles.   
She is survived by her children, Robert (Sally) Roma of Salem, NH, Jerry (Bonnie) Roma of Houston, TX, Judy Roma of Versailles, Ralph (Nancy) Herrera of Monroeville, whom she lived with for the last 4 years of her life and Nancy Richardson of West Mifflin; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was also preceded in death by sisters, Betty Moldavan and Dorothy Antes.

Melinda L. Macherosky, age 58 of McKeesport, died May 3, 2017 at Concordia Hospice of Washington. Born April 12, 1959 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Wakefield) Roberts, and loving wife of the late Bobby Macherosky. Melinda worked as the Benefits Manager for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for many years. She lived for her faithful dogs and always gave back to help those animals in need. She is survived by her siblings, George “Gene” (Donna) Roberts of Reading, Judy (Jim) Black of North Huntingdon, and Patty (the late Lance) Townsend of Gulfport, MS; loving cousin and caregiver, Eileen Ryder; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Ralph Cecil Gardner, 92, of Bethel Park, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He and his daughter Linda shared an apartment his last two years. Born November 26, 1924 in Layton, Fayette County, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence W. and Toyley (Stauffer) Gardner. His wife of 62 years, Gladys (Brewer) Gardner preceded him in death on March 23, 2007. They lived in Port Vue for 50 years. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Kay (the late Charles) Fowler of Bethel Park, Sandra Jean (David) Altman of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Justin (Dana) Fowler, Kristin (Edward) Cunningham, Sarah Marie (Kyle) Kopko; great-grandchildren Marcus and McKenna Fowler, and Mary Elizabeth Kopko.
