Stanley M. "Ducky" Kaska, 90, of Clairton, died July 29, 2018. He is the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette Kaczka. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy (Garber) Kaska; daughter Cindy (Curtis) Tanner; sons Andrew Grant, Alan and Randy (Yolanta) Kaska; grandchildren Drew, Amber, Noel (Jeff) Skorvan, Josh and Jaden; great grandchildren Alexa, Kylie, Ava Skorvan, Julian and Victoria Kaska; brother John (Betty) Kaczka; sisters Stephanie Edmundson and Mildred Prejean; also nieces and nephews. Stanley was retired from P @ LE Railroad and American General and was a member of Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin. He was very proud of his football success with the Glassport Gladiators, Glassport Odds and the McKeesport Ironmen. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home Fri. 3-6. Fumiyo "Faye" Sikorski, 83, of Glassport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 17th surrounded by her family. She was born December 29th 1934 in Osaka, Japan. Fumiyo was the daughter of the late Genzaburo and Chiyoe Uchiki.She was the beloved wife for 62 years to her late husband Benedict Sikorski, loving Mother of Michael (Angie) Sikorski and Doctor Christopher (Barbara) Sikorski, proud Grandmother of Michael (Jennifer) and Gavin (Katie) Sikorski and Christopher and Elena Sikorski, and the very proud great grandmother of Chase and Camden who knew her as Grandma Faye. She is survived by her 2 sisters Taeko, Minako and a brother Tadayoshi, brother in law Joseph Sikorski and sister in law Armie Sikorski as well as many nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Fumiyo. She was a member of the former St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Glassport and was a very active member of the Queen of the Rosary Church and just loved Father Miroslaus Wojcicki. She always attended Sunday mass until she became ill. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Glassport Pa. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10am at the Queen of the Rosary Church 530 Michigan avenue Glassport Pa. by the Reverend Miroslaus Wojcicki.

He was a former member and past president of the Youghiogheny country club and the IBIS golf and country club in West Palm Beach Fl. He was a member of Masonic lodge Stephen Bayard 526,Elizabeth,the consistory and Syria Temple.He was the owner and president of Scholl Tractor Sales in Elizabeth serving farmers and construction business in the tri-state.
Bill is survived by daughters Sherry (Richard) Kogut, Bonny (Alan) Wright and a son William (Margaret) Scholl jr. Grand children Kelly (Steve)Tedeschi, Christian (Claudia) Kogut, Eric Scholl,Katherine (Matt Hoffer), Jesse,Zachary and Kylie Wright and Chris Snyder and great grandchildren Nicholas, Emilie, Gabriella, Madison, Halie and C.J.

Dolores H. “Dolly” Navaroli Popovich, 91, passed away Saturday July 14, 2018. She was born October 28, 1926 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Gust and Catherine Bosnak Navaroli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny, Gus and Joe Navaroli and sister Kathryn Pugh. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, McKeesport.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Catherine Schneider of McKeesport and Christine (Michael) Germek of McKeesport, with whom she resided. Three #1 grandchildren, Jason W. Schneider of Miami, Florida, and Amber and Kristin Germek, both of McKeesport; Sister Mollie Claar of Greenock; Sister-in-laws Joanne Navaroli of Westmorland City and Shirley Navaroli of Delmont; Many nieces and nephews and her precious grand puppies Daisy and Autumn.
Dolores was a retired medical transcriptionist in the Pathology Dept. of McKeesport Hospital for over 25 years. She loved to sew and was a wonderful seamstress. She was a devout Catholic, a “real Italian”, coffee expert, loved watching her old scary Boris Karloff movies and being a loving mom and grandmother.

Ronald F. "Ron" Morgenstern, 91, of Elizabeth Township, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at home. He was born February 6, 1927 in Greenock and was the son of the late Jacob and Bertha Burland Morgenstern. He was husband of the late Audrey (Schriber) Morgenstern. Ron was retired from management at US Steel for many years and was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock. He was a charter member of Greenock Fire Company, former member of the Elizabeth Township Planning Commission, past president of the Elizabeth Forward School Board and past president and member of The Elizabeth Township Historical Society, in which he was most proud of his work he did for their Lewis and Clark Expedition re-enactment. Braz was a retired boilermaker at US Steel Duquesne Works with 34 years service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, and was a past president of their Men's Club. He served on Parish Council, volunteered at Children's Hospital, volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and co-chaired the 100th anniversary of Holy Trinity Church. He proudly served in the army; he was stationed in Germany where he was awarded the Guardian of the Outpost of Democracy, serving in the 6th Infantry Regiment. Mildred (Millie) (Milka) Besedich Hughes, 100, of Dravosburg passed into eternal rest on June 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 24, 1918 in Youngstown, Ohio to Jovan and Kata Besedich, the family later moved to the coal mining town (#9) of Farmington, West Virginia. In 1942, she left home to support the war effort working in the Akron Goodyear factory making barrage balloons. She married Elmer Hughes in 1945 and they moved to Dravosburg in 1956.
She owned and operated Hughes Grill for 14 years. She was famous for the Friday fish sandwiches. After selling the business, Millie worked for K-Mart retiring in 1989 after 15 years. Consistent with her love for caring for others, Millie delivered for Meals on Wheels for 20 years until age 92. She was a member of Amity Presbyterian Church for 60 years and served as an elder.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, her parents, her sisters Olga Myers, Mary Chickrell, Malava Blanton, Josephine Flannery, Virginia Davis, Kay Stache, her brothers Drago Besedich and Dan Besedich and her grandson Brian Weddle. She is survived by and was the beloved mother of Ron Hughes, Marcia (Phil) Weddle and Diana (Ron) Etzel; cherished grandmother of Christopher Weddle, Eric (Heidi) Weddle, Jessica Etzel and Allison Etzel; great-grandmother of Philip (Aubree) Brown, Hazel and Ayler Weddle; great-great grandmother of Gavin and Marlie Brown; and loving sister of Helen Lockwood. Millie also leaves behind nieces, nephews, friends and her faithful dog, Buddy.
She loved her family and her home. She loved to cook, bake, garden, crochet and walk her puppies. She was a loyal friend and neighbor.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at I.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Amity Presbyterian Church, 400 Euclid Avenue, Dravosburg, PA 15034 and continue with a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Park. Peggy took piano lessons to fulfill a passion for music. She enjoyed traveling and sports. Her travels took her all across the USA, Europe and the Islands. In her younger years, she loved skiing at Seven Springs. An avid golfer, Peggy enjoyed playing with a Woman’s Club at Butler Public Golf Course. Volunteer work included the McKeesport Library and YMCA activities. Peggy retired as a Cash Manager from G C Murphy Company with 39 years of service and kept in touch with her Murphy colleagues through their MERF Retirement Club.
