Daryl R. Lewis, age 50 of Dravosburg and formerly of Clairton, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.  Born June 16, 1972 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Frank Lewis of Titusville, Pamela (Kim) Eggleston of Monongahela, and step-son of Wilbert (Connie) Harrison of Liberty Boro. 

Daryl was a truck driver for Walshak Trucking of Pittsburgh.  In addition to his parents, he  is survived by his wife Tanya Parsons Lewis; his children Amanda (Steven) Mullen of Poinciana, FL, Tyler Lewis of Monongahela, Matthew and Olivia Lewis of McKeesport, Aaron Mathews of Ambridge, Kally Sloan and Tevin George of Clairton, Dakota Sloan, Sakia, Shyann, Jallelle, and Lillian Lewis, Skylor Bennett, and Serenity and Mikael Lewis of Dravosburg; his three grandchildren; his brothers Frank Lewis, Jr., T.J. Nestor, Chris Nestor, and Richard (Missy) Lewis; his sisters Shawna, Danielle, Laura, Emma, Missy; and also nieces and nephews.

 Lucy I. Roldan, 68 of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Rockville, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home. She was born in Quito, Ecuador, on August 21, 1953, to the late Alfredo and Ines (Moncayo) Roldan. She is survived by her brother John C. (Peggy) Roldan of Gaithersburg, Maryland, as well as her beloved dog. She enjoyed discussing politics via Facebook and her blog, as well as taking care of animals throughout her life. She also enjoyed attending services at Saint Thomas A’ Becket Roman Catholic Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. Elizabeth R. Milcheck, age 91, of Peachtree City, Georgia, formerly of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, July, 8, 2022. 

She was born on September 3, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, the only child of the late Rudolph and Anna Rehak, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Milcheck and her daughter, Janis E. Kurtz.  Elizabeth is survived by her children, Lauren Cooper of Boynton Beach, FL, Gregory Milcheck (Donna) of Fayetteville, GA, and Gary Milcheck (Christine) of Blairstown, NJ, grandchildren, Stephanie Cooper of Denver, CO, Jennifer Cooper-Gamboa (Ignacio) of Boynton Beach, FL, Daniel Milcheck (Shelby) of Roswell, GA, Christina Milcheck of Athens, GA, Adam Kurtz of Jacksonville, FL, Melissa Kurtz of Jacksonville, FL, Brian Kurtz of Jacksonville, FL, Keri Ann Kurtz of Jacksonville, FL, and step-grandson, Austin Strub of Blairstown, NJ. 

She had a wide range of office experience in law, medicine, insurance, engineering, American Bridge Co, nursing homes and sales.  She was an avid reader, knitter and volunteered extensively.

She was born in Scottdale, PA on November 23, 1925 and is the daughter of the late Vittorio and Angelina Caliciotti Bianchi and the wife of the late Virgil M. Ohler. She was employed at Zayre Department Store (later Ames) from 1965 until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of the McKeesport Church of Christ. She loved to go on casino trips, play cards, and bingo. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Born July 18, 1942 in Jefferson Hills, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Harr) Hartlein and wife of the late Gary Z. "BG" Bower. Barbara is survived by her children, Michael (Cindee) Clinton of Clairton, Michele (David) Bendel of Elizabeth, and Denise (Michael) Studvick of Elizabeth Twp.; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Samantha, Adam, Chad and Amanda; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Tuttle of Confluence and Judy (Spigs) Pasquerell of Jefferson Hills; family friend Wayne; also, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frank L. Averell, Jr., age 52, of Wilkins Township, died July 7, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born February 13, 1970, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frank L. Averell, Sr. and the husband of Jeannie Burke.

Frank was the owner of Fly Speck Detailing in Irwin and was the former owner of National Jewelry Outlet in McKeesport. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino and hanging out with close friends. Frank will always be remembered by those who knew him as a hard worker and someone you could count on to be there when you needed help.

Marjorie J. "Marge" (Esek) Mykeloff, 79, of Buena Vista, formerly of West Mifflin and Liberty Boro, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. She was born September 14, 1942 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Agnes (Nasta) Esek. She patiently waited nearly 49 years to be reunited with her loving husband, the late George Mykeloff. Marge was a 1960 graduate of Duquesne High School and was quite the marksman on her rifle team. She kept her High School letters and riddled targets to prove it. She was part of the first graduating LPN class of CCAC in 1982 and went on to work for Kane Regional Medical Center in McKeesport, where she was a Union Steward, and eventually retired in 2002. She kept true to her nursing spirit, as she would tell the nurses at Meadowcrest Rehab exactly how everything should be done. Marge was known for her caring nursing, generous nature, and her wonderful sense of humor.

Bob retired from Tom Clark Chevrolet, where he was an auto body repair technician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting with his brother, sons, and daughter-in-law, and all things outdoors. Bob especially loved trips to Lake Erie for Walleye fishing. He spent Friday nights at the former Motordrome Speedway in his early years. Although, his greatest love was the time he spent with his grandchildren.

John retired from the former Trafford Printing Co. Before that; he worked at Westinghouse, where he was a machinist until they closed. He also worked as a security guard at CCAC. John was a Corporal in the US Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Trafford American Legion Post # 331. John was an avid golfer, although his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Wilkinsburg, a son of the late R. Wayne and Gladys (Gongaware) Peer. Dennis was self- employed as a meter technician and a veteran of the US Air Force. Dennis was a graduate of Trafford High School class of 1973 and a member of Adamsburg VFD Social Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, his Corvettes and muscle cars in general. He also enjoyed car and air shows shows and loved his Boston Bull Terriers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Beth. He is survived by his son, Dennis Peer Jr. and his wife, Darcy; daughter, Kaitlin Peer; sister, Connie (John) Barra; granddaughter, Annabelle. She was born December 16, 1958 in Monongahela and is the daughter of the late Edward Michael and Pearl Kathleen (Byrand) Seach. Diz was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to becoming a Nurse's Assistant for many years at the Mount Vernon of Elizabeth Assisted Living. She is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Daniel) Pacich of Clairton, Kathleen Cassady of Fort Myers, FL, and  many nieces and nephews. Rebecca Dakin, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born November 1, 1957 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Dorothy (Kondrich) Dakin. Before her retirement, Rebecca taught at Penn Hills High School, where she was named Teacher of the Year. She was a member of the Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Becky was a passionate teacher, a master quilter, and a trusted mentor. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her siblings, Deborah, Loretta, and Lloyd Dakin. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on July 13, 2022 at 11 am at Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3380 Nehrig Hill Road, Ardara, PA 15615. Dolores Jean Goga

Dolores Jean Goga, 87, of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Kane Regional Center in Scott Twp. She was born June 7, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Mamrak) Kepich. She was the wife of the late Raymond George Goga, who passed away August 29, 1977. Dolores graduated from McKeesport High School in 1953. She worked at Balsamo's and the memorial theatre in McKeesport during high school. After graduation she worked at Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding. Later, she also worked briefly as a caregiver and then in the purchasing department of Allegheny County. Dolores loved being a homemaker and took pride in her home, she loved having her grandchildren come to visit and enjoyed taking them on day trips when they were young. Christmas baking was another favorite activity; in addition to sewing and several other crafts.
