Roseann Garwood, age 73, of Ruffs Dale, died September 1, 2021 at Frick Hospital. She was born April 21, 1948 in Key West, Fla. She was the wife of and is survived by James Garwood. They were married for 54 years. Roseann is also survived by two children, Donald (Victoria) of McKeesport and Diana Kochman (David) of West Newton, grandchildren Jacob Garwood of Columbus, Ohio and Michael and Rose Kochman of West Newton.
Also surviving are her siblings Sandy (George) Ghrist of McKeesport and Robert Harder of East Hickory, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings Edward and Harold.

Pamela Lee Readel, 68, of White Oak, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 with her children by her side. She was born December 6, 1952 in Mckeesport and was the daughter of Evelyn (Fravega) Schaffner of Versailles and the late William Schaffner. Pam was retired from Rivers Casino. She was a loving mother and grandmother and her life revolved around her grandchildren. She was always available to help and give of her time to others. Pam loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was a fanatical Pittsburgh Steeler fan and was known to many as "Mama Pam". In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Charles (Laura) Readel of North Huntingdon and daughter, Tricia Kaylor of White Oak, brothers, Brian (Linda) Schaffner of Monroeville and Billy Schaffner of Versailles, grandchildren, Joey Readel, Christian Readel, Mia Perri, Karli Kaylor, Addison Readel and Quinn Readel, nieces and nephews and her granddogs, Queenie and Jacoby. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Staci Marie Perri and brother, Kim Schaffner. Linda L. Woodring, age 64, of McKeesport, died August 30, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born October 7, 1956, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Kofchur) Moody and the wife of the late Robert E. Woodring.
Linda was retired from Travelers Insurance, where she was a sales trainer. Afterward, she worked as a secretary for Dr. Marion Skezas. Linda enjoyed shopping and traveling with friends.

Madeline J. Burgman, 80, of Glassport, died Sept. 2, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine Plesniak. She is survived by her beloved husband Darrell Burgman; daughters Deborah Hvozdik, Nadine (Kerry) Ord and Loretta (Shawn) Fisher; grandchildren Justin Raible, Jason Godzin, Heather Godzin and Evan Fisher; great grandchildren Jeffrey R. Raible and Ivan Godzin. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey L. Raible and brother George Plesniak. Thomas D. Bonner Sr., 80, of Irwin, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born October 1, 1940 in McKeesport, a son of the late James Bonner. Prior to his retirement, Tom worked for US Steel Irvin Works for 40 years and was a graduate of Clairton High School. He was a member of St. Edward Parish in Herminie, played for Norwin Senior Softball team for seven years, was a foster parent for 15 years, and loved to fish. He had a kind soul and a warm heart to all he met and a great sense of humor. Tom was very handy and could repair or build just about anything. He will be reunited with his true love, Carole.

Nellie “Betty” E. (Mulkerin) Brown, age 94, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was born April 30, 1927 in Swissvale, a daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Mulkerin. She attended Linway United Presbyterian Church in North Versailles until her health did not allow her to travel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years Ross Harlan Brown Sr.; son Ronald Brown; brothers William and Ronald Mulkerin; and sister Mary Jane Felt.
She is survived by her children Ross (Robin) Brown Jr. of Columbus, Ohio and Patricia “Patti” Dzikiy of Jeannette; grandchildren Heather (Richard) Dzikiy-Fisherowski, Stefani (Ralph) Wasil and Lindsay (Jason) Garner; great grandchildren Olivia Garner and Evelyn Wasil; and brother Thomas (Kathi) Mulkerin of Arlington, Texas.

David Kenneth Hall, 61, of Greenock, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at home. He was born September 22, 1959 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Austin and Joanne Dolores (Knight) Hall. David was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Irwin and was a graduate of the Columbia School of Broadcasting. He was a Graphic Designer and had worked for Giant Eagle and Xerox. He was an avid musician and enjoyed playing his Guitar.

Thomas J. O’Malley, age 75, died peacefully on September 1, 2021. He was the son of the late William F. and Mary W. O’Malley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Anne Bromley, his brothers, William P. and James P. O’Malley, and his nephew, William H. O’Malley. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen B. O’Malley, brother, Patrick M. O’Malley, brother-in-law, William D. Bromley, one niece and four nephews and their spouses, three grandnieces, six grandnephews, and one great grandnephew. He had many friends, especially among the ARC Bowling Community. The family extends special thanks to Carol Moore and the staff at Sycamore Estate PCH who cared for Tom over the past 12 years. Mark S. Munas, age 48, of McKeesport, died August 20, 2021, at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh. Born April 2, 1973, he was the son of Lois J. Munas.
Mark loved tattooing and enjoyed riding motorcycles, was free-spirited, and had a heart of gold for all. He loved his children dearly even though he was unable to be with them.
Mark enjoyed painting, and building things. He had a beautiful mind and very artistic.

Carol L. (Quinn) Opfar, 61, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was born September 16, 1959 in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Kelley) Quinn. She was married to the late David D. Opfar, who passed away May 11, 2014. She graduated from East Allegheny School in 1977. Carol held many jobs and was an avid crafter. She loved music, sewing, and playing cards as well as enjoying trips to the lake and spending time with her family and friends.

Born in Duquesne on February 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Elias & Alma (Hart) Kelley and wife of the late Robert Swineburg. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Duquesne. She is survived by children, Donna Kelley of Glassport, Jo Ellen Jordan of McKeesport and Marie (Dominic) Yeager of Glassport; 15 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; and Nieces and Nephews.
