William David Alund, 88, of White Oak, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at home. He was born August 14, 1932 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George Gustave Alund, Sr, and the late Edith (Swanson) Alund. William was a member of Christy Park United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Jenny Lind United Methodist Church where he was in the choir for over 60 years. He also enjoyed participating in the McKeesport Barbershop Chorus and the National Carbide and Tool Society. He retired from Champion Tool and Die after 50 years of employment and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was born, October 18, 1933 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Walter and Georgia (Norton) Mueller. Prior to his retirement, Gary was a general foreman for US Steel and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of North Huntingdon and enjoyed watching movies and loved taking care of his lawn and tending to his flower beds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Burkhart and Marlene Painter. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Royle) Mueller; sons, Gary Mueller and his wife, Peggy, Kirk Mueller and his wife, Becky; grandchildren, Jacob, Samuel, Rachel and Hayley. Alfred L. Cadena, age 83 of Clairton, passed away at home on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Born October 3, 1937 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Alfred and Emma (Hrvacic) Cadena. A former Pennsylvania National Guardsman and member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (the former St. Joseph's Church, Clairton), Alfred worked for many years in buildings and facilities department at US Steel - Clairton Works. He had an extreme fondness for cars, whether it be their repair, collection, or even the die-cast models. He had a passion for westerns, classic country music, and old time television, especially Perry Mason and Gunsmoke. Alfred was a handy person who was always available, and happy, to help. But most importantly, his family will remember his as a generous soul who dearly loved his family. Besides his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his sisters Emma (John) Berchok and Lillian (the late Lewis) Martini. He is survived by his sister Bernadette (the late Sylvester) Mazza; his nieces and nephews Michele Mazza, Jeffrey (Megan) Mazza, Brian (Gwen) Berchok, Jacqueline E.
