Mrs. Stanoszek was the beloved wife of the late Edward Stanoszek and the loving mother of Alan (Sylvia) Stanoszek of New Stanton. She was preceded in death by a brother Willard J. Robert M. Schweitzer, age 69 of West Mifflin, died suddenly on Friday, March 17, 2017. Robert was born in McKeesport on May 7, 1947, son of the late Herman R. and Mary Rose Martucci Schweitzer. He retired happily as a Lieutenant for the West Mifflin Police Department after 29 years of service. He was a member of the #3 Fire Department of West Mifflin, American Legion Post 712 in Pleasant Hills, Fraternal Order of Police, VFW Post 802 in Wilson, Syria Shriners, and the Bethel Park Lodge #761 F&AM for over 39 years. He also loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and spending time with his fellow friends.

Born in McKeesport, October 10, 1948, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mabel E. “Betty” Hagan Abraitis, Jr. He was a retired heavy equipment driver, a member of St. James the Greater church in Apollo, the Apollo V.F.W., the American Legion in Vandergrift, and was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by 2 brothers, Michael J. Abraitis III of McKeesport and David R. Abraitis of McKeesport; 2 sisters, Loretta Nothdurft and Susan M. Cokain of Harrisville, PA; also by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Monday from 3-7 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church by Father Thomas Moore, OSB on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.

Daniel "Danny" Reese Williams, 70, of Greenock, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Danny's final days were spent surrounded by his family and close friends and listening to his favorite oldies and Gospel songs. Some of his more enjoyable days were spent sitting around a pot belly stove with his close buddies talking about backhoes, engines and old times. Danny also enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track car races, and Steeler's football, although he continually changed the TV channels.
