Henry David Jasiewicz, 71, of McKeesport, died Tuesday April 25, 2017 at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.  He fought until the end.  He was a 1963 graduate of McKeesport High School. Owner/operator of Renzie Auto Center and leader of, Henny & the Versa J's polka band.  Also former member of the Bell Hops Orchestra.  Henny was a 2005 Grammy nominated recording artist.

He was born May 22, 1945 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Henry T. and Josephine Balawadjer Jasiewicz. Married,  Joan A. Wirth Jasiewicz on April 8, 1967.  Father of Teri Jasiewicz (John) Binkiewicz of Pickerington, Ohio and Henry J. "Butchie" (Teresa Whitney) Jasiewicz of Hempfield Township, PA. Brother to Diane "Dee-Dee" Jasiewicz Ogrodny (late Stas) of Nashville, TN.

Marie Germek, age 89, of McKeesport, died April 22, 2017, at home with her children by her side. Born April 6, 1928, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Gusta and Anna (Balint) Tiffany and the wife of the late Raymond J. Germek.

Marie worked at many different restaurants throughout the McKeesport area in her early years. She then dedicated her life to caring for her family. She is a member of Corpus Christi Church and was a Christian Mother at the former Sacred Heart Church. Marie enjoyed working jig saw puzzles and she will always be remembered for her delicious homemade dishes, especially during family gatherings and holidays.  Marie is survived by children, Darniece Homler of McKeesport, Michael (Christine) Germek of McKeesport; daughter-in-law, Margo Germek of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Renee (Patrick) Germek Dooen, Amber Germek, Chantal Germek (Brian Pope), Kristin Germek and Heather ( Allan) Link; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jared, Noah, Allyson and Carter; brother, Ted (Dee) Tiffany of McKeesport; sister-in-law, Patricia Ancarana of Port Vue; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by her son Larry; siblings, Dolores Cielieska, Harry Tiffany and Joey Ancarana; son-in-law, Hank Homler. Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox – Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 2 p.m. – 8p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. He was a member of the Boston United Methodist Church, and was the Choir Director there for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Barber Shoppers, the Barbershop Society, and County Line Chorus. He was a retired Crown and Bridge Technician for Dr. Charles Jones' Dentist Office in Versailles and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dorothy L. Kerr Lepsch, son, George W. (Nancy) Lepsch of McKeesport, daughter, Nancy (David) Bash of White Oak, step-sons, John Douglas Jacobs of Morgantown, WV, and Mark A.
