Cheyrl Sue (Redeker) Ebbitt, 67, of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully with family and close friends by her side Monday, May 2, 2016 at home. She was born October 24, 1948 in Guthrie, OK, a daughter of the late Claude A. and Freda P. (Reed) Redeker and was also preceded in death by her fiancé Bernard O’Bryan. She was a medical technologist for over forty years having retired from Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Cheyrl was a 1966 graduate of Norwin High School. Surviving are her children, Kacey C. Ebbitt of White Oak and Zachary J. Ebbitt (Heather) of North Huntingdon; a brother Rick Redeker (Stefanie) of Irwin; also her furry companion Max.

She was born March 24, 1924 in Duquesne, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Teslovich) Bobuk and was also preceded in death by her step mother, Elizabeth (Buckiso) Bobuk who raised her. She was a former member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Duquesne. She worked as a clerk at U.S. Steel, Duquesne Works, before working as a clerk at Gimbels Department Store, Eastland Mall.

Mary Jane (Reese) Castellow, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was born January 29, 1941 in St. Mary’s, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Moore) Reese. She was a physical therapist in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and went on to create a physical therapist program at the Tarrant County College in Hurst, Texas. She is survived by her son Glenn (Mary) Castellow of Kill Devil Hills, South Carolina; two grandchildren; brother Harmon W. (Ruth) Reese; niece Kathryn I. (Gregory) Greco; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Gerald P. “Jerry” Dilla, 79, of Irwin, died at home Thursday March 31, 2016. He was born November 21, 1936 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Eugene and Mary Dilla and was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He was a retired baking supervisor for Braun Baking Co., Pittsburgh and a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin. Jerry enjoyed spending time at his cabin on the Allegheny River and loved to fish. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict era. He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Shirley A.
