Linda Jean Hansen, 74, of Christy Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born June 10, 1948 in Wall and was the daughter of the late Jean (Fry) Paige and was the wife of the late Harry E. Hansen. Linda was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kane Regional in McKeesport and was previously a Hair Stylist. She was very spirited and willful. She loved her dog "Paco" and listening to "Oldies". She also loved to watch TV shows including The Incredible Dr. Pol, Alaskan Expedition and her Soap Opera's.

Helen (Kunes) Sawchak, age 93, of White Oak, formerly of McKeesport, died peacefully on May 27, 2023, at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. Born on February 16, 1930, in McKeesport, PA., she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Helen (Ruckman) Kunes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Steve Sawchak, and beloved brother and sister, Jack Kunes, and Jean Baird. Helen was raised by her maternal grandparents, Jenny and James Ruckman of McKeesport. She had many happy memories with her dearest cousin Loretta "Dolly" Booth. Helen was proud of her McKeesport roots and had a special affection for the 10th Ward section of the city. Helen was a member of Bridge City Church in White Oak. She enjoyed her years of dedicated service in the bakery department of the North Versailles Giant Eagle. She had great pride in her flowers, shrubs, and lawn. Helen had an awe-inspiring gift of completing daily crossword puzzles and loved to shop and watch old movies.

Stella “Ceber” Giger, 86, of White Oak, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023, at UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville. She was born February 21, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, to the late George and Mary Stephanic Kresovich. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 66 years, Daniel Giger. Stella was a devoted mother to four children: Danny (deceased); Mitchell Giger (Melanie) of North Huntingdon; Philip Giger (Mandy – deceased) of White Oak; and JoLynn (Scott) Striegel of Bethel Park. Additionally, Stella took pride in her role as a grandmother to six grandchildren: Tricia (Brandon), Olivia (Trent), Brooke, Max, Blake, and Taylor, as well as a great-grandmother to Harlow. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stella was also preceded in death by her sister, Diana Kresovich, and brother George Momich.

Cynthia Annette Moore, 61, of White Oak died May 15, 2023. Daughter of the late John Willie and Laverne Smith Moore, Jr., she began her earthly journey on April 21, 1962.
Cindy accepted Christ as her personal Savior in her youth. She was a member of the Gethsemane Church of God In Christ and was known for her hospitality and willingness to help where needed.
Cindy was a 2006 graduate of California University's MSW program and was a practicing social worker all her life! She was employed at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank for twenty years and worked tirelessly to support the efforts of the organization to alleviate the impact of hunger throughout Southwestern PA in her role there as Chief Outreach Officer.

Prior to her retirement, Mary was an assistant branch manager for Mellon Bank/Citizens Bank in Donora for 41 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish where she was a Christian Mother and volunteered for Lenten fish fries.

Edward "Ed" C. Lane, age 65, of Bethel Park, went to be the Lord May 23, 2023. An Air Force veteran serving from 1983-1991, he retired May 12, 2023 from R.L. Miller LLC Hydraulic Equipment in Pittbsburgh. He was a member of the Clairton Sportman's Club.

He was a 1958 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. John married Carolyn Marie Homer on September 3, 1966 and they spent 56 beautiful years together. John loved to sing and owned and operated the Johnny Greco Orchestra for many years. He was born August 3, 1988 in McKeesport and was the son of Cathy Marie (Rick) Davenport Williams of Buena Vista and James "Rich" Richardson (Lori) Williams of West Newton. J.R. was a 2006 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. J.R. was a kind hearted soul, who was always there for anyone in need.
He was a great handyman and was always involved in various side jobs and yard work. Lori S. Epps, age 61, of Glassport, died May 18, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born March 29, 1962, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Susan (Johnson) Brooks and the wife of the late Gary Epps.
Lori enjoyed going on walks, relaxing at the pool, and soaking up the sunshine. She was an animal lover and dog mom to Outlaw and LuLu.
Lori is survived by her sons, Jacob (Nina) Epps and Nick (Kayla) Epps, both of Glassport; grandchildren, Ella and Noah; siblings, Sandy (Thomas) Grinder of White Oak and Russell (Wendy) Brooks of Port Vue; nephews, William Balog and Jordan Brooks; and niece, Christine Jones.
