Sarah “Sally” C. Petras, age 79 of McKeesport, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at LGAR Health & Rehabilitation Center, Turtle Creek, PA. She was born March 15, 1939 in New Eagle, PA, the daughter of the late Daniel M. and Lois Seng Plummer. In her early years Sally worked at R.E. Kaplan Furniture, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Hamil Manufacturing and Johnston the Florist. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes and costumes for her daughter. Her greatest joy was tending to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leslie F. Petras; daughter, Danielle Anthony of N. Huntingdon; brother, Daniel Plummer of Santa Monica, CA; and grandchildren, Katherine Rose and Gabriel J. Anthony.

Clorinda “Clo” Mastrocola, age 95, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born August 12, 1923 in East McKeesport, a daughter of the late Charles and Nichol Mastrocola. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Forest Hills. She worked in the drafting department of Westinghouse Corporation in East Pittsburgh for over 39 years before retiring. She volunteered at the museum in Wilmerding and was a proud supporter of President Donald Trump. She is survived by her sisters Katherine Mastrocola and Betty (Richard) Groff; and many nieces and nephews.

Charles Allan “Magoo” McGogney, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. A Class of 1956 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, he served in the U.S. Army, 11th Air Assault Division, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was self-employed in commercial floor maintenance. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Pymatuning, watching baseball and football games, western movies, and listening to a wide variety of music from the 1960s and ’70s, especially country western music and the rock groups The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Always passionate about food, his favorite meal was Thanksgiving dinner. His favorite pastime was congregating with all his buddies at the local coffee shops throughout the years. Best known for his comical sense of humor, there was never a dull moment in his company. The younger generation loved learning about his philosophies of life. He had such a heart of gold and was so compassionate toward those less fortunate in life.
