Nicholas (Nick) Dabruzzo, 76 of Glassport died July 6, 2018.  He is the son of the late Anthony and Maria (DiPaolo) Dabruzzo.  Beloved husband of Loretta (Skerkoski) Dabruzzo.  He is survived by his sons Nicholas (Brett) Dabruzzo of MD and Richard (Lisa) Dabruzzo of Cranberry; grandchildren Sydney and Max; sisters Jean Todaro and Josephine Metz; also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brothers Anthony, Quirino, James and Guido and sister Ida Null.  Nick was retired from the Port Authority; a member of Queen of the Rosary; Holy Name Society; Glassport Senior Citizens and the Lucky Seven Card Club.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Sun. 2-8.  A funeral mass will be held Mon. 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Parish.  Interment following Calvary Cemetery.

Charles "Chuck" Clinton Northrup, 91, of Allison Park, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born October 18, 1926 in Pittsburgh and was the husband of the late Dorothy (Rozinsky) Northrup and the late Carol J. (Ludwick) Northrup. Chuck was a member of Park Baptist Church in Versailles. He was also a member of F & AM Lodge #375 and #731, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, the Shriners and was on the Mount Vernon Cemetery Board of Directors, as well as many other community projects. He was retired from A.B. Murray Co. and was a US Army WWII Veteran. For his service, he received the Good Conduct Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon and the WWII Victory Ribbon. He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Mark) Caro of the North Hills, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson, nieces and nephews.

FRANCIS W. "BRAZ" BREZNAY age 84, of Duquesne, on July 3, 2018 at home. He was a son of the late Steve and Anna (Kish) Breznay. Braz was a retired boilermaker at US Steel Duquesne Works with 34 years service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, and was a past president of their Men's Club. He served on Parish Council, volunteered at Children's Hospital, volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and co-chaired the 100th anniversary of Holy Trinity Church. He proudly served in the army; he was stationed in Germany where he was awarded the Guardian of the Outpost of Democracy, serving in the 6th Infantry Regiment. He was also a valued employee of the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home for over 15 years. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. Beloved husband of 59 years to Jane (Bitkowski) Breznay; father of Cindy (late Duane P.) Salopek of West Mifflin and the late Stephen Breznay; grandfather of Nicole (Brandon) Salopek, Neil (Stefanie) Salopek, Melissa (Tom) Temple; great-grandfather of Lia, Adilee Salopek, Olivia McMillan, Braelynn Temple, and Jace Nathan; brother of Agnes (Jerry) Smith of Bethel Park, Pauline (William) Robinson of Crosby, TX, and the late William Breznay. Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300 where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church at 9:30. Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Burial will be with military honors on Monday at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Brockman, 79, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at Sycamore Estates, Duquesne, PA.  She was born January 30, 1939 in McKeesport, Pa, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy Eastman Ferry. Prior to her retirement, Helen was employed by various local bakeries. She also enjoyed trips to the casino. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Brockman and one sister Judy Dirjan.  She is survived by her two sons, James Brockman and his wife, Maria, Todd Brockman; and daughter, Susan Brockman (Dean Capristo) and brother-in-law Ray Dirjan.
