She was a member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, the Clairton Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, past president of Elizabeth Senior Citizens, past Mother Advisor of Clairton Rainbow Girls, and was active in other senior citizen organizations.
