Born in Wilmerding Township on May 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine Skrupa Stanoszek. Ted was a member of  Holy Trinity R.C. Church West Mifflin, retired from U.S. Steel Duquesne Works, member of American Legion Post 0712 Dravosburg, past member of the G.B.U., former Moose Lodge #75 Duquesne, and V.F.W. Post 188 Duquesne.  Beloved husband of 62 years of Margaret "Midge" Mihailoff Stanoszek.  He is survived by his loving children Cindy (Dennis) Mitrik, Richard (Diane) Stanoszek, Dee Dee (Mark) Troutman, and Lori (Craig) Skovranko, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law George Mihailoff, many nieces and nephews and beloved dogs.

She was born in McKeesport on September 11, 1928, the daughter of the late James and Jean Skarry Guiser. Dona was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Joseph Sherbine, Sr., her son, Daniel J. Sherbine, Jr., and granddaughter Krista Cotter. She received her undergraduate degree from Carlow College and her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Dona was a teacher at St. Angela Merici School (now Mary of Nazareth) for over 20 years, teaching science to 4th through 8th graders. She loved reading and the beach.

Aiden J. Denne, 87, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at home. He was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Duquesne, son of the late Paul and Bernadette (Lager) Denne. He was a retired metallurgical engineer who worked for U.S. Steel, Duquesne, and Lorain Works, Ohio. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, North Huntingdon, and St. Joseph Church, Duquesne. He was a member of Jacktown Ride and Hunt Club, Irwin Moose and Teutonia Mannerchor Club, Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Marilyn (O'Bringer) Denne; father of James (Mary Jo Ingelido) Denne, of Harrison City, Suzanne (Kevin) McHugh, of North Versailles, and Sally Kieswetter, of Kitchner, Ontario, Canada; grandfather of five, Meghan (Alex) Caterson, Sarah (Dr. James) Breisinger, Thomas "T.J." Denne, Amanda Kieswetter and Ronald Kieswetter Jr.; great-grandfather of four, William and Benjamin Caterson and Hazel and Patrick Breisinger; and brother of Kenneth (Jean Ann) Denne, of Wilmington, N.C., and the late Paul (surviving spouse Margaret) Denne, of Ft. Pierce, Fla. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne (412-466-3300; William B. Marion was a former Home Health Care Nurse' Aid and was also a former Activities Coordinator at Lifespan. She was an avid Steelers fan and was always decked out in black and gold. She is survived by her loving sons, Grant (Linda) Mitchell of Elizabethtown, and Patrick Mitchell of Marietta, loving daughters, Jacqueline (John) Evans of Brownsville, Denise Mitchell of Elizabeth Twp., and Rebecca (Tony) Mitchell-Perry of Clairton, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren that she loved and adored dearly.

"If anyone knows me they know I am a strong woman, but here is a little history.

"I graduated from high school in 1967, that same week I started in the mill in the business planning department, I started running a multilith machine. In 1969 the consent decree was passed and women could apply for non traditional jobs in the plant. I was the first woman awarded the job as a laborer. To my chagrin, the men were not happy to have me. My first job....clean out the railroad cars. I had a ladder to climb in, once inside I had no way out. Oh, and by the way, no bathroom. I also held a job as the acid tester, still no bathroom and no other women.
