Raymond Anthony Manz, age 86 of White Oak, passed away Thursday morning, October 27, 2016. He was born December 11, 1929 in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann (Goertler) Manz; his children, LuAnne (James, Jr.) Danner, Eric Manz, Karen (Kevin) O'Malley and Steven (Joann) Manz; grandchildren, Nicole, Aaron, Joseph, John, Kailee and Owen. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Betty) Manz and John (Mary) Manz; and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was a staunch patriot and proud veteran who served the country he loved during the Korean War in the 2nd Division Combat Infantry where he was awarded two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. He was a strong, kind man in life who loved and was devoted to his family, (and John Wayne). His gentleness, patience, and good humor made him a wonderful role model for his family. He was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2016 at St. Angela Merici Church at 10 a.m. Entombment with military honors will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery. Theresa Elizabeth Whitacre, age 93, of McKeesport, died October 24, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center. Born January 7, 1923 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Barr) Ochap and the wife of the late John W. Whitacre, Sr.
Theresa was retired from McKeesport Hospital as a unit secretary. She was a member of Evangelical Congregational Church and taught Sunday School and OCF classes. Theresa volunteered for Meals on Wheels and loved trips to Florida visiting her sister.

Moira Brown, age 65, of Christy Park, died October 23, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born February 11, 1951, in Lancaster, England, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Margaret (Ord) Zawasky and the wife of James C. Brown, Sr.
Moira worked as a home care nurse and cook until retirement. She was a great cook and was best known for her potato salad. She enjoyed camping at Deep Creek, MD and spending time riding motorcycles with her husband. Moira was truly the glue of the family.

June Morrison Fiddler, 93, formerly of the Luther Ridge Retirement Community, Chambersburg, PA, and Mount Vernon, PA, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Quincy Village, Waynesboro, PA. Born in McKeesport on February 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Ellen Sigley Morrison. Wife of the late Albert Fiddler, she is survived by her daughter, Nancy Fiddler of Orlando, FL, also by nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by her son, Robert Edward Fiddler and her sister, Nancy Johnson. She was a retired secretary and former member of Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Fiddler was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Chambersburg, was a graduate of McKeesport High School, class of 1940, and attended the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of Falling Spring AARP #2840, the Afternoon Club, and the Kittochinny Historical Society, and served on the board of Meals on Wheels and IRP at Wilson College. Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Friday from 3-7 PM and Saturday from 10-11 AM. A service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. William K. Little officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions to Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, 2200 Buena Vista Road, Elizabeth Twp., PA 15135; Central Presbyterian Church, 40 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to a favorite charity.
