Leroy Earnest Neyman, 85, of Dravosburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Riverside Nursing Center in McKeesport. He was born May 13, 1932 in New Castle to the late Floyd and Ann Lenhart Neyman. Leroy is survived by his loving wife Carol F. Dalton Neyman; sons, Wayne (Twila) Neyman of Dravosburg, Leroy (Claudette) Neyman of Elizabeth; daughters, Carolee (James) Burns of White Oak, Lori (Jace) Younge of Elizabeth; son-in-law, Dale McCall of McKeesport; brothers, Raymond (Dana) Neyman of Lancaster, Floyd Neyman of Greenwod, SC; sisters, Clarissa Ord and Lana (Ron) Urbansky both of Dravosburg; eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen McCall, sister Delores McKelvey and brother Bobby Neyman. Leroy was a 1951 graduate of McKeesport High School, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of American Legion Post 380 in Dravosburg, served as President of the Dravosburg Boys Club for 30 years, was a shortstop for the New York Giants, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his cabin in the mountains. Katherine “Katie” Richel, 92, of Glassport, formerly of Port Vue & Liberty Boro, passed away at Southwestern Nursing Home in West Mifflin on Thursday July 27, 2017. She was born April 29, 1924 in McKeesport to the late Paul and Bertha Tkatch. Katherine was the loving wife, for 52 years, of James Harry Richel who passed away in 1983. She is survived by daughter, Marjorie Deliman of Glassport; son, James Richel of Glassport; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Katherine was preceded in death by sisters, Ann & Elizabeth and brothers, Paul & Mike. Irene “Rene” Austin, 91, longtime resident of Glassport, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017 at Overlook Green Personal Care Home in Whitehall. She was born April 22, 1926 in Rankin to the late Michael and Annie Siri Yobak. Irene was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Charles W. Austin who passed away in 2007. She is survived by children, Deborah (Rege) Ford of North Strabane, Chuck (Tracey) Austin of North Huntingdon, Cheryl Austin of Highland Park, and Jim (Laurie) Austin of Elizabeth. Irene was the proud grandmother to grandsons, Patrick (Kara) Ford, Matthew Ford, Joel Austin, Jordan Austin, Seth Austin and Grant Austin. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Dan) Justice of Ft. Washington, MD and dog Sari. Along with her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Yobak, Ann Veronick; and brother Andrew Yobak. She was an avid reader, loved spending time with her late husband at Playland Campgrounds in Cochranton, enjoyed fishing for walleye and bass at Tamarack Lake, and enjoyed playing cards. Walter Edward “Lurge” Zamko, 91, of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was born May 18, 1926, in Duquesne, to the late Michael and Tillie Kaniecki Zamko. Walter was a loving husband of 51 years to the late Gertrude “Do Do” Janci Zamko who passed away in 2003. He is survived by daughters, Pam Zamko Kaska of West Newton, Joy Zamko (Howard) Galliford of Millerville, MD; grandchildren, Drew & Amber Kaska, and Lindzey, Amanda & Patrick Galliford; great-grandchild, Viera Joy Galliford. Along with his parents and wife, Walter was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Zamko; sisters, Julia Kish, Mary Zamko, Frances Zamko; and brother, Anthony Zamko. Arnold Armond “Spider” Rondinelli, 82, a well-known jazz musician from Clairton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was born February 5, 1935 in Clairton to the late Anthony and Angeline Macioce Rondinelli. Along with his loving wife of 41 years, Georgina, he is survived by son, Michael (Paula) Rondinelli of Louisville, KY; grandsons Jared and Avery; brother, Naz (Elsie) Rondinelli of San Diego, CA. Along with his parents, Spider was preceded in death by sister Marlene Decima. After graduating from high school in 1953, he worked his first job as a musician at the Point Vue Hotel in Brentwood. In 1960, Spider was drafted and spent two years in the service with the 113th Army Band, based at Fort Knox, Ky. After his discharge in 1962, he returned to Pittsburgh but was itching to hit the road and went to Chicago. Spider returned to Pittsburgh for a bit and moved on to St. Thomas for more than 4 years but, as usual, returned to Pittsburgh to do what he loved. "Jazz is going to save the world," he said. "Jazz music has given me security. I have done nothing else in my life. My father wanted me to be a tap dancer, but I preferred to play the music that made me want to dance." She was born August 27, 1936 in McKeesport to the late Richard T. and Charlotte E. Riley Jones. Martha was the loving wife of the late James Ralph Baker who passed away in 2014. Betty J. Hollenbeck, 89, of West Mifflin went to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born December 6, 1927 in McKeesport to the late Herman & Naomi Fairbaugh. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, W. Kenneth Hollenbeck, and son Dr. Thomas M. Hollenbeck. She was a retired employee of Bell Telephone and Mon Yough Mental Health. Betty is survived by daughter, Sue (David) Rigau of Norfolk, VA; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hollenbeck of Lansdale, PA; brother, Robert (Fran) Fairbaugh of Sellersville, PA; longtime friend and companion, Kenneth Holmes of Dravosburg; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was not only a member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church for over 50 years, she was a Sunday School Teacher there as well for 40 years, a lay leader and sang in the choir. George E. Anderson, 88, of Pittsburgh, PA, departed this life, peacefully, following a short illness, on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the HJ. Heinz Veteran's Community Living Center in Aspinwall, PA. He was born December 25,1928 in Pittsburgh, to the late George R. Anderson and Elizabeth Lynch Anderson and step-mother, Mary L. Jones Anderson. He graduated from Pittsburgh Public Schools, George Westinghouse High School in Homewood. Upon graduation, George enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War for three years. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the army, George attended Carnegie Tech, studying to be a draftsman, while working part-time for the U.S. Postal Services, along with many other jobs. George met and married his late wife Dolores C. Talson Anderson, and to this union, two daughters were born, Leslie Diane Florence, and Lynne Darcel. George became a full-time employee of the U.S. Postal Services, working on the railroad mail delivery, Pittsburgh to Chicago delivery route for many years. Later, until retirement, George was a supervisor at the Vista facility of the U.S. Postal Service.

John Edward Williams, 90, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at John J Kane Regional Center in Glen Hazel. He was born December 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh to the late Lawrence and Martha Becker Williams. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma Wray Williams.
