On July 27, 2023, Sonja Faye Noullet passed peacefully surrounded by her beloved family.  Sonja was a talented lady.  She never found a DIY project she couldn't master.  She gifted her family with the beautiful fruits of her labor, paintings, crocheted blankets and baby outfits.  Her love for her husband and family was only surpassed by her love of God.  She was a prayer warrior and prayed diligently for all those she cared for and those she didn't know.  Although she will be greatly missed by her family, we are comforted to know she is dancing on the streets of gold surrounded by our loved ones that have gone before her.  Sonja was born October 16, 1941 in Columbus Georgia, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethelda Kirkland Newman.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Duboise.  She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard L. Noullet; son, Richard (Lisa); daughters, Angela Rickard and Sarah Lewis (Kevin); brother, William Purvis (Debbie), sister, Skye Nightsong; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642.  Service to follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, 303 East Wacker Drive, Suite 2300, Chicago, IL  60601-5224.  Interment will be private.   www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
