Jane C. Earnest, 99, a resident of Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020. She was born during the Spanish Flu pandemic in 1920 and died during the current Corona Virus pandemic in 2020. She wasn’t called Calamity Jane for nothing! Also known as Grandma Honeybunch, and GG (Great Grandma), she lit up a room upon entering and, if she wasn’t playing the piano for all to sing along, she was letting everyone know how much she enjoyed them. Jane’s favorite pastimes besides music were the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins and playing bridge. Her true love was her husband, John, and the rest of her family.

Albert “Harvey” A. Rusnock, 81, born April 7, 1938, of Glassport died April 3, 2020. He is the son of the late John and Sophia Rusnock. He is survived by his beloved wife Julia (Solomon) Rusnock, married for 61 years; children Trudy Rusnock, Juliann Puckett and Belinda (Wayne) Lewis; grandchildren Wayne (Robyn) Lewis, III, Katie (Mike) Volpe, Anthony Lewis, Holly Puckett and Ashley Puckett; great grandchildren Aubree, Chloe and Taylor; brother Frank Rusnock and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Andy, Joey, Steve, Paul, John and George and sisters Margaret and Anne. Al worked for Pitton, Bucyrus Erie and later retired from Guardian Glass. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and belonged to the Clairton Sportsman Club, New Baltimore Gun Club and Schellsburg VFW. MaryAnn (Sala) Glenn, 83, of North Huntingdon Twp., formerly of Wall, Pa., died March 31, 2020. MaryAnn was the devoted wife of Donald Glenn for 57 years.
She was the loving mother of Susan Glenn, Donna Glenn, Lisa (Mark) Winowich, Lori (Boris) Bajich and Don (Andy) Glenn; adoring Baba of Andrew, Mariana, Luka, Ana, Nadia and Sara. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Terri (David) Petrick and all who loved her. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Frank Sala and Violet (nee Evanovich) Medvecz, step-father, Michael “Cubby” Medvecz and her sister, Michelle (Walter) Stys.
Her faith and family were her world. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Pearl Mohammed, 89 years old, of West Mifflin, passed away on April 1, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital. The eldest of 14 children. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Kenny Mohammed and Mikey Ramtahal. She immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago in 1970. She worked for the Spitz family and then for McKeesport Hospital before retiring in 1996. She was a warrior for the Lord teaching bible study at McKeesport YMCA, being a prayer partner at Cornerstone television for over 20 years and becoming an alumnus of Harty Bible School.

Deidre R. Smith joined her Heavenly Father in Heaven on March 30, 2020. She was 64. Deidre was born July 10, 1955 to the late Tony and Marcella Smith in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Victor and Gary Smith. Deidre was raised in Clairton, Pennsylvania. Family and friends called her Dee Dee. She attended Clairton High School. She relocated to Los Angeles, California for a short time. For many years, Deidre worked in the healthcare field, it suited her servant's heart.
Deidre loved people, especially her family (nieces and nephews). She can be quoted as saying, “What you cooking?” She had an eye for fashion, always wanted to look good. If she was going out, she had no problem with buying a new outfit. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Clairton, PA.

Barbara M. Arnold was born February 7, 1943 in Clairton, Pennsylvania to the late Willie Gressem and Eva Hawkins Gressem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Marie Arnold; siblings, Rebecca McGrew and William Gressen, Sr. Barbara fought a good fight and finished her course, she transitioned to eternal life on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Barbara was married to Frederick Arnold for 61 beautiful years. To this union, four children were born. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Barbara especially loved and spoiled her grandchildren. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her children or grandchildren. Barbara was truly family-oriented; the one thing you could say about Barbara is that she loved the Gressem and Arnold family alike.

Judith Lynne Bauersfeld, PhD of Ridgefield, CT, formerly of Scottsdale, Arizona and Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on April 1, 2020 after more than a decade long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease and recently contracted the Covid 19 virus which ultimately took her life. She was married for 34 years to the late S. Richard Bauersfeld, MD, who passed in 2009. Born May 16, 1944 Judy was the only child of Evelyn and Eugene Moss of McKeesport , PA. She always described her childhood in the most positive ways and enjoyed a tight knit community of friends and extended family throughout her years in McKeesport. She attended Penn State and then the University of Pittsburgh where she eventually earned her doctoral degree in Public Health and Social Work; an accomplishment for which she was extremely proud. She began the Pittsburgh Center for Step-Families where she counseled families through the process of becoming a step-family. She was always a hard working and determined professional who eventually worked in Executive positions for organizations including The Make a Wish Foundation and Phoenix Memorial Hospital.
