Jean Marie (Gazda) Jordan, age 78 of Athens, GA and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Arbor Terrace, Athens, GA. Born September 11, 1942 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Connie (Smerilli) Gazda. An active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and its choir, of Marietta, GA, Jean was a member of the Acworth, GA Red Hat Society, an avid reader, and animal lover (especially cats.) Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas J. Jordan, Jr., who passed away June 29, 2001. Jean is survived by her children Michael Dominic Jordan of Elizabeth, Teresa (Kendall) Jordan Mundy of Bishop, GA, and Nicole Marie Jordan of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren Ashley Marie Jordan of Suwanee, GA, Jordan Marie Mundy and Meghan Claire Mundy, both of Bishop, GA, and Angelina Mary Jordan and Nicholas Michael Jordan, both of Elizabeth; her siblings John (the late Loretta) Gazda of Plum, Joseph (the late Pat) Gazda of Pittsburgh, and JoAnn (Ed) Waters of Jackson Center; and also nieces and nephews.

She was a US Air Force veteran who served her country with pride. Joan was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, FOD, and Church Woman's Club. She was an avid reader and a staunch movie buff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother, Irene; sister, Patricia Galata. He was born Oct. 5, 1946 in Homestead, PA and was a 1964 graduate of West Mifflin North High School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart.
Larry worked for United States Steel in Homestead for 21 years and later as a Letter Carrier in McKeesport for 24 years. He served as Executive Vice President of the NALC Branch 332.

Norma J. Tyskiewicz, of Glassport, died peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. She is the daughter of the late William and Bessie Mae (Fine) McCorkle and beloved wife of the late Stanley Tyskiewicz. Norma is survived by her children Lynda (Michael) Whitcomb, Kathy Catalina, Norma Davis, Stanley Tyskiewicz and Elaina (Gregory) Skiba; grandchildren Ed Catalina, Carrie Scott, Megan Skiba and Emily Skiba and 5 great grandchildren.
Norma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved endlessly. She enjoyed cooking and baking and waiting for spring so she could sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds. She spent years painting pictures and doing ceramics , for friends and family. She loved winter so she could watch her favorite sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. She will be missed by many.

Anna T. Milas, age 101 of Jefferson Hills, passed away comfortably in her sleep on Saturday, September 26, 2020. she was born April 17, 1919 in Clairton and lived a long and happy life. Anna was preceded in death by her parents the late Michael and Helen (Unitas) Kojundzic; her husband of 36 years, Anthony W. Milas, who passed away September 7, 1981; and her son James (daughter-in-law Lynn) Milas, who passed away unexpectedly September 2, 2020. Anna worked in the payroll department at KMart, retiring in 1989, and was known for making friendships that lasted throughout her life. She was an active member of and volunteer at St. Thomas a'Becket Church in Jefferson Hills. Anna will be remembered by all who knew her to be kind, generous, and caring. She is survived by her sons Eugene M. (Carole) Milas of McMurray and Leonard (Lenna) Milas of Bethel Park; her seven grandchildren Maura (Marc) Derstein of Telford, Andrea B. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Oliver and Richard Oliver. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Hess Oliver; 2 sons, William C. (Kim) Oliver of North Versailles and Jeffrey D. (Melissa) Oliver of Penn Hills; 3 granddaughters, Kaitlin Oliver, Eliana Oliver, and Dakota Toughlinn; and his sister, Mary Louise Trapana of North Huntingdon. Mr. Oliver was a US Army veteran, a 53 year member of the Smedley D. Butler Post #701, American Legion, and was a graduate of McKeesport High School. He was a courier for Family Home Health, a refueler at the Allegheny County Airport, and worked at Lea’s Flower Shop in East McKeesport. Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 12:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

John O. Collins, Jr. age 77, of West Mifflin, died September 23, 2020, at home. Born March 28, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John O. Collins, Sr. and Anna (Phlor) Collins and the husband of Barbara Collins. John worked as a machinist starting out at Heppenstall Steel and retiring from Jackson Gear Company in Etna. He enjoyed yearly trips to Las Vegas with Barbara and watching and feeding the birds outside his home. He was a life long Steeler fan who listened to Classic Rock and Classical music. He leaves a legacy of taking pride in your work and always giving it your best effort. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, John and James Collins, and sister, Beverly Weimskirch.
