Bert Gaal, Jr., age 81 of McKeesport, died June 7, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center. Born May 6, 1935, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Bert and Elizabeth (Kish) Gaal, Sr. and the husband of Wanita S. (Chalfant) Gaal.
Bert retired from National Tube, where he worked as a machinist. He was a former member of First Free Evangelical Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, watching Pittsburgh Penguin games and was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan.

Cornelius “Mickey” McNeil, Jr., age 85 of McKeesport, died Thursday June 9, 2016. He was born in McKeesport on March 16, 1931, and is the son of the late Cornelius J. McNeil, Sr. and the late Nora (Welsh) McNeil.
He was a bus driver for Greyhound Lines, Inc. for 30 years. He was a member of the 6th Ward Club in Pittsburgh. He really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching all the Pittsburgh Sports Teams and he loved to spend summers on Canadohta Lake with his family and friends.

Mary Ann Bench, age 75, of Port Vue, died June 2, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born June 2, 1941, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Vella (Riffel) Perino and the wife of the late Joseph Bench.
Mary worked as a licensed cosmetologist in her early years and later as a nurses aide, until retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McKeesport. She was the past president of the Red Hat Ladies Society at Riverside Nursing Home. She enjoyed trips to the beach, crafts, bingo, and she especially enjoyed bowling with the other residents of Riverside Nursing Home.

Charlotte Waskowicz of McKeesport, passed peacefully in the arms of her daughter, Francine, on Sunday, June 5, 2016. It is with great sadness to inform her dear family and friends of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Johanna (Szymarek) Sieracki, and the beloved wife of John Waskowicz who preceded her in death. Charlotte is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Francine Waskowicz. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Bill Sharkey, Cathy Sharkey, Dolly (Nunzio) Chelli, Floyd (Darlene) Mandella, Arlene (Walt) Miscavage, Artie (Charlotte) Hartman, Carol Patik, Judy Madoff, Bob (Patience) Waskowicz and Marian Hrycyk; and many great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Charlotte began her career as a telephone operator and later worked as a clerk in the engineering department for Bell Telephone, from where she retired after more than 40 years of dedicated service. She was a long time parishioner of St. Mary of Czestochowa (Corpus Christi Parish), where she was a Christian Mother and member of the Ladies Aid Society and Catholic Daughters. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Corpus Christi Parish at 10 a.m. Father Michael Maranowski will officiate. (Per Charlotte's request, there will be no viewing). Russell Raymond Booth, Sr., 97, of Elizabeth Township, died Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born May 5, 1919 in Elizabeth and was the son of the late Louis and Anne Crossland Booth. He was the husband of the late Minnie Mattie Coulson Booth who died September 21, 2010. They were married for 64 years. Russell was a member of the Greenock United Methodist Church, and the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. He retired from US Steel Clairton Works in 1981 and was a US Army Corps of Engineers Veteran of WWII. Russell enjoyed building both remote control and model airplanes.
