John H. “Jack” Waugaman, Jr., age 83 of West Mifflin, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born November 14, 1934 in Duquesne, the son of the late John H. and Helen Ringler Waugaman, and husband of the late Kathryn March. Jack worked for Kennywood Park for many years on the pony tracks, and as a ride operator. He was a foreman for US Steel Duquesne Works for 31 ½ years. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and playing cards.

Derek worked as a machinist for Vista Metals and loved his two precious fur babies, CiCi the cat and Maggie the dog. Kenneth Wayne Holmes, 88, of Dravosburg, passed away at home Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was born December 20, 1929 in McKeesport to the late Jerry and Mary Cigrand Holmes. Kenny was a loving husband to his late wife, Iva Beitler Holmes for 38 years. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and wife, Kenny was preceded in death by his faithful companion of many years, Betty Hollenbeck; sisters, Mattie Econovich, Emmie Holmes; and brothers, William, Charles, John, Jerry, and Harry Holmes. He served in the US Army during WWII and also served during the Korean War, he was a retired employee of US Steel National Tube in McKeesport, was a member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church, was an avid hunter, loved driving cars and golfing, but most of all loved his family. Kenny was honored and delighted to receive his “60 year” pin as a member of the Duquesne/McKeesport Lodge #731 of the Free and Accepted Masons. Arrangements have been entrusted to I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. As per Kenny’s wishes, there will be no visitation; however, a graveside service will be conducted at Donegal Cemetery on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 am.
