Raymond A. Stasko, 78, of Munhall, died Aug. 29, 2018. He is the son of the late Andrew and Veronica (Simko) Stasko. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Posipanka) Stasko; daughter Christine (Carl) Martin; son Anthony (Kim) Stasko; step daughter Melissa (Tim) Fisher; granddaughter Torie Ragan; step gandchildren Ryan and Nate; sister Bernice Biroscak; also many loyal and dear friends from Whitaker. Robert “Bob” Lester Dearth Jr., 76, of North Huntingdon, previously of McKeesport, passed away at UPMC East in Monroeville Wednesday, September 5, 2018. He was born December 30, 1941 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Robert L. Sr. and Helen Seymour Dearth. Bob is survived by his loving wife, of 43 years, Stella L. Warnick DeSalvo Dearth; son, Richard DeSalvo of Irwin; daughter, Gina (Joseph) Herrera of Trafford; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Caitlin), Brandy, Kayla (Kevin); nieces, nephews; sister & brother in-laws, Dan & Sherry McDowell of Versailles; siblings, Bernard (Hilda) Dearth of Stoutsville, OH, Beverly Burroughs of Kingston, OH, Barbara (Edward) Halterman of Washington Court House, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Bernice Fetters. Bob was a US Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked in the HVAC/Maintenance department at Carnegie Towers, enjoyed working and was a dog lover. Arrangements have been entrusted to I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. There will be a memorial service later. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray costs. Betty (Frantz) Davis, 97, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Pleasant Hills, died Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was born May 8, 1921 in Clairton and was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Ann (Sharrocks) Frantz. She was the wife of the late Charles Allen Davis who died January 17, 2017. They were married for 69 years. Betty was a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church and was a former member of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority there. She taught school in the Clairton School District for 5 years and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. Betty enjoyed many things including dogs, baking, cooking, feeding the birds, book clubs, groups at church, and bridge clubs. Betty and her late husband Allen enjoyed their international experiences living in Valencia, Madrid and Bilbao. She is survived by her son, Allen (Connie) Davis of Greenville and daughter, Ann (Mark) South of North Huntingdon, grandson, Wesley (Rebecca) Davis and great-grandson, Samuel G. Davis of Fairfax, VA.
