Leona Evans, known to family and friends as "Lee Lee”, of McKeesport, passed away on September 10th, 2018, at the age of 69 years. She was born in McKeesport on February 20, 1949 and is the daughter of the late John and Mildred Smith Slater.
She was a faithful member of Temple of Faith Church in North Versailles and a cook for many years. Leona enjoyed her cats, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, William Evans, son, John (Kathy) George of Braddock Hills, daughter, Melissa Bachman of Duquesne, son, Joseph (Crystal) George of West Mifflin, granddaughter, Britney (Stephen) Bowen of New Cumberland, W.V., numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many family and friends.

Eleanor Krick, 87, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at RNC of Greensburg. She was born March 25, 1931 in East McKeesport, Pa, a daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Fabry) Krick. Eleanor was a life time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Irwin. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a commercial artist by Matthews in Pittsburgh, a fashion designer in Canton, Ohio and was employed in the family business, "Krick's Country Catering" for over 40 years. She was a member of the Norwin Art League, Norwin AARP 3221, volunteer for the Norwin Chamber of Commerce, and enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother George Krick. She is survived by her nephew, Darren Krick and his wife Gretchen and their son Griffin, sister-in-law, Suzanne Krick. Services will be private. Prior to her retirement, Joyce was an administrative assistant for MSA Credit Union and a member of St. Agnes Parish. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, playing games on her IPad and especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred (Herky) Pozzuto; and brother, Bill Roeder. Cecilia Marie (Forgie) Ditter, age 75, of North Huntingdon, formally of Turtle Creek passed away peacefully at Forbes Regional Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Robert Forgie and Lorraine (Forgie) Engleman. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and former member of Penn Woods United Methodist before its closing. She worked at the Irwin Bank and Trust as the bank manager for over 20 years before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Miller. She is survived by her husband of over 56 years Donald “Don” F. Ditter, children Tammy (John) Blackwood of Rostraver and Donald R. “Dirt” (Dana) Ditter of Trafford; grandchildren Kolin and Megan Ditter; sister Anita (Robert) Minnix of Richmond, Virginia; brother Robert (Donna) Forgie of Turtle Creek; brother-in-law Tommy Miller; and many nieces and nephews especially Christopher and Carter Minnix who thought of her as “grandma”.

Oscar Benjamin Toth, 95, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital after a brief illness. He was born July 22, 1923 in New Castle and was the son of the late Paul and Esther (Gyori) Toth. He was the husband of the late Angeline (Ross) Toth. They were married November 22, 1945 and celebrated 65 years of marriage sharing their time and love with family and friends.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Elizabeth Township and was retired from US Steel Irvin Works. Oscar was a WWII Army Veteran. He entered the Army Air Corps on February 13, 1943 and served as a ball-turret gunner on a B-17. He completed 33 Missions in the European theater before being injured in combat. His last mission was on November 30, 1944, which prevented him from returning to active duty. He proudly served his country for 2 years 3 months and 27 days. For his service he received the Purple Heart with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon. Oscar retired from US Steel Irvin Works after 38 years of service and was highly regarded by his co-workers. He developed a love of the outdoors early in his youth and became an avid hunter and fisherman. He shared his love of the outdoors with his son and then with other family members and friends and was a positive role model to follow. He is survived by his son, Benjamin (Terri) Toth of Harrisville, daughters, Laura E. (Robert) Cabon of Elizabeth Township and Linda (William) Oliver of Mercer, grandchildren, Amy, Laural, Stephen, Stephanie, Adam and Benjamin, great-grandchildren, Paige, Brianna, Claire, Christopher, Lauren, Ellena, Henry, Jack, and Matthew, and nieces and nephews.
