He was born September 30, 1930 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Monrean) Wingertsahn. Richard was retired from US Steel Homestead Works Carpentry Department, and was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years Stanley Wegrzynek; brothers Michael and Andrew Charney; and sister Ann Grabowski. She is survived by her children Jane (Wayne) Tobac of Scott Twp. and Daniel Wegrzynek of Pitcairn; grandchildren Michael (Elise) Tobac of Scott Twp., Evan (Rachel) Tobac of Freemont, California, and Jeremy (Fiancé Melissa) Tobac of Cary, North Carolina; and brother John Charney.

Gifford Calvin Williams, age 82, of McKeesport, died Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born in Huntingdon, PA on Dec. 11, 1936 and is the son of the late Theodore and Jessie Gifford Williams. He graduated from McKeesport High School in 1956 and served in the United States Army. He had a long career in the dairy industry beginning at Menzie Dairy, Beverly Farms Dairy, Farm Dairy, Taylor Milk Company, and retiring from United Dairy. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport and a member of the Holy Name Society of the former Sacred Heart Church in McKeesport. He was also a former baseball and softball coach at the White Oak Athletic Association.

He was a former employee of 5 S Components Inc., East McKeesport, and a member and elder at Linway United Presbyterian Church, North Versailles, where he had also served as the church secretary. He was a fan of 60’s era entertainment, enjoyed bowling, karaoke, and he had a good sense of humor. Donald was a devoted husband and proud father. He is survived by his wife Kathleen A. “Kathy” (Morgan) Berger and his daughter Jessica E. Berger both of East McKeesport; his sister Diana M. (Jim) Smith of West Mifflin; nieces and nephews including Deborah Smith and special thank you Jimmy Smith for his special assistance and care; mother in law Dolores Morgan; brothers and sisters in law Cindy (Marty) Busija, Rick (Shari) Morgan, Sally Rettger (Jeff Conte), and Patty (Sean) Marks.

Robert J. Wawrzeniak, 88, of Glassport died Saturday January 19, 2019. He is the son of the late Michael and Blanche (Pokropski) Wawrzeniak. He is survived by his daughter Kelly (Paul) Heatherington, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, son in law Dennis Sobczak and daughter in law Beth WawrzeniakHe was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary (Hornyak) Wawrzeniak, daughter Lynn Sobczak, and son Mark Wawrzeniak. Robert was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, Polish National Alliance, American Legion, and was honorably discharged  from the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was the retired owner of Bob's Bar in Glassport where he spent many years with his patrons collecting monies for the UPMC Children's Hospital Free Care Fund. Friends received  WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Glassport, Tuesday 2-5 and 6-7:30 at which time a blessing will be held.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the free care fund at UPMC children's hospital  of Pittsburgh www.givetochildrens.org which was near and dear to Bob's heart.

Lawrence “Bub” William Trimnal, 90, of Clairton, formerly of Winter Haven, FL, passed away at home, surrounded by his adoring family, on Friday, January 18, 2019.  He was born January 6, 1929 in McKeesport to the late Irby and Janet Wilds Trimnal.  Bub is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley A. Bobbs Trimnal; sons, Lawrence Trimnal of Clairton, William Trimnal of Clairton, Erick (Sandy) Trimnal of Finleyville, Keith (Cindy) Trimnal of Clairton; daughter, Valerie (August) Smarra of Jefferson Hills; brother, Odis (Dodi) Trimnal of Dravosburg; daughter-in-law, Linda Trimnal of Rock Hill, SC; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Along with his parents, Bub was preceded in death by son, Barry Trimnal; siblings, Charles Trimnal, Wayne Trimnal, and Doris Stock.  He was a proud veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict, before retiring, Bub was an iron worker and was a member of Local #3 Iron Worker’s Union.  He was a member of VFW Post 803 in Clairton, enjoyed golf, and loved spending time with his family.  Aside from his love and pride for his family and his country, Bub fulfilled a promise he made to himself when, at age 57, he received his GED.  Arrangements have been entrusted to S. M. Jesse Donald LaFollette, 83, of Clairton, formerly of Elizabeth, Glassport and Show Low, AZ, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Baldwin Health Center.  He was born May 25, 1935, in Brownsville to the late William Henry Harrison LaFollette and Minnie Marie Smith LaFollette.  Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Ann Tognarini LaFollette; sons, Chris LaFollette of West Elizabeth, Glenn (Pammela) LaFollette of Springfield, MO, Don (Kim) LaFollette of Elizabeth; daughters, Barbara “Babs” (Don) Cade of Washington, D.C., Sheryl (Joe) Ingram of Port Vue, Angela LaFollette of Richeyville, PA, Teressa LaFollette of Whitaker, Rene (Rodney) Wallace of Verona;  brothers, William LaFollette and Ronald (Peggy) LaFollette both of Cleveland, Earl (Linda) LaFollette of Fort Meyers, FL; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Along with his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by siblings, Francis, Carl, Ida, and Gladys.  He was an associate of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in West Mifflin, owned LaFollette Heating and AC, was retired from US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport, was a sports enthusiast with baseball being his favorite.  Visitation will take place from 2 - 4 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at E. C.
