Genevieve E. Emmett, 94 formally of North Versailles, Pa. passed away June 14,2018 in Meadowcrest Nursing Center, Bethel Park. She was born March 16, 1924 in McKeesport the daughter of the late John J. Altmeyer Sr. and Jennie (Hessler) Altmeyer. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Emmett.
Genevieve is survived by her son James Emmett and his wife Barbara of Naples Fl. she is also survived by a sister Evelyn M. Altmeyer. There is a private vistation on Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Good Sheppard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donation to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund at 34 Washington St. Suite 200 Wellesley Hils Ma. 02481. She retired after 30 years of nursing at the Reformed Presbyterian for the Aged.
