Dorothy A. DiTommaso, 87, of North Huntingdon, died Monday June 4, 2018. She was born October 22, 1930 in Trafford, the daughter of the late Marko and Mary (Fabijnac) Turkovich and was also preceded in death by her husband Angelo L. DiTommaso and a brother Paul Turkovich. Dorothy and her late husband Angelo co-founded the popular eatery Angelo’s Ristorante in 1956 on Rt. 30 in Irwin. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, a former member of the Irwin Garden Club and belonged to several golf leagues. Cooking was her passion. Surviving are her children John M. (Sana) DiTommaso, Denise (Vince) Dalicandro, and Debbie (Robert) Huey; her grandchildren Christian Koury, and Angela and Alyssa Huey; and her great granddaughter Viviana Koury.

Arnold V. Plum, 90, of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday, June  5, 2018. He was born February 16, 1928 in Versailles and was the son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Johnson) Plum. A life long resident of the McKeesport area, Arnold graduated from McKeesport High School and Muskingum College and then earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to attending college, Arnold served as a Corporal in the US Army at the end of WWII. He later practiced law for 59 years, the last 30 of those years proudly with his daughter, Linda C. Plum. Arnold was a career member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and  American Bar Associations, and was inducted as a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. He served as chair of the Municipal and School Solicitors and Public Relations Committee, as well as a member of the Probate and Trust Law Section, Lawyers Insurance Committee and Arbitrator Fee Dispute Committee, all of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Ruth Jane Kimball, 54, of Glassport, formerly of Clairton, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at UPMC McKeesport.  She was born in McKeesport October 2, 1963 to the late Benjamin & Kathryn Spencer.  Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Kimball; sons, Michael and Bryan Kimball both of Glassport; grandsons, Jordan and Julian Kimball of Glassport; sisters, Florence (Scott) OBlak of Elizabeth, Lauri (David) Ehredt of Boise, ID, Jennifer Spencer of Munhall; brothers, Steven (Joy) Poorman of Elizabeth, T. J. (Marianne) Poorman of Glassport, Paul Poorman of Clairton; step-mother, Mary Lindeman of McKeesport; 4 nieces and 12 nephews.  Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by sisters, Gail Robertson, Brenda Warnick; brother, Benjamin Spencer Jr.  Ruth was a caretaker at Tender Loving Care Nursing Home.  Visitation will take place from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm on Friday, June 8, 2018 at S. M. George A. Wray, age 102, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was born April 26, 1916 in Altoona, a son of the late James and Minnie Luemma (Heacox) Wray. He was a long-time member of New Hope Presbyterian Church in North Huntingdon where he served as an elder and on their property committee and was proud of his membership in the Norwin Men’s Prayer Fellowship. He was a World War II Army veteran that served in the 188th Combat Engineer Battalion attached to General Patton’s 4th Armored Division. He retired after 42 years as a production coordinator for Westinghouse Corporation in East Pittsburgh.

Oskin, 92 of Murrysville, formerly of McKeesport passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018.  She was born April 24, 1926 in McKeesport, daughter of the late John and Agnes Pastor Martin.  She was the proprietor of Oskin’s American Service Station in McKeesport for over twenty years, was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville and was a greeter at Sloan Elementary School for many years.  Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Linda (John) Sundin of Murrysville; a granddaughter, Kirsten (Jason) Saxton of Atlanta, GA and a grandson, Jarrod (Katelyn Sundin of Savannah, GA.

James "Jim" Harry Taylor, 75, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 peacefully in his home surrounded by family. He was born October 3, 1942 in Sutersville and was the son of the late James Howard and Martha Jane (Ellenberger) Taylor. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann (Yocum) Taylor who died August 25, 2013. They were married for 46 years. Jim was retired from the former G.C. Murphy Co. Warehouse in Christy Park and was a former Constable in Elizabeth Township for 12 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 249 where he served as shop steward and was a member of the 1973 negotiating committee. He was also a member of the former Industry Volunteer Fire Co. Jim was elected to serve 2 terms as Allegheny County Democratic Committeeman representing Elizabeth Township's 3rd Ward. He is survived by his sons, Daniel (Samantha) Taylor and Scott (Jill) Taylor of Elizabeth Township and Douglas Taylor of Laurel, MD, grandchildren, Jacqueline, Lauren, Nicholas, Jacob, Brooke, and Zachary, brothers, Grover (Faith) Taylor of Charleroi, and Fred (Kathy) Taylor of Elizabeth Township, sisters, Shirley (Bill) Slagy and Lydia Taylor of Elizabeth Township, nieces and nephews.

Betty Jane (Smith) Lenhart, 93, a resident of Golden Heights, Irwin, died there Friday June 1, 2018. She was born June 10, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN, a daughter of the late Martin and Jane (Boran) Smith. Betty was a faithful church goer who loved music and dancing and had an extreme love for nature. She enjoyed oil painting and was a member of the Norwin Art League and was well known for her sense of humor, and sweet and pleasant disposition. She worked for a number of years at the former Cox’s Department Store, Norwin Shopping Center. She is survived by her children Susan Lee Hill and her husband Jeffrey of Irwin and Debra Jane Lenhart of Coolville, OH; a sister Billie Elms of North Huntingdon; nieces Jana Kay Elms and Paula Carr; and great nephews Ian Elms and Travis Carr.
