Elizabeth A. Karos, 95, of West Mifflin, died March 11, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Jovo and Anna (Relich) Karos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers John, Michael, George and Rudolph Karos and sisters Mildred Korach, Anna Wilhelm and Olga Karos. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a member of Holy Spirit Church. A funeral mass will be held Wed., March 13, 2019, 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Church. Patricia Gilkey Barth, age 84, of White Oak, died March 12, 2019. She was born in Braddock on May 20, 1934 and is the daughter of the late Lewis H. and Ida M. Feeney Gilkey. She received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Duquesne University and worked for over 20 years as the school librarian for St. Angela Merici School in White Oak. She loved reading books, was a member of St. Angela Merici Church, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

David J. Fusco, 63, of Rillton, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home. He was born April 16, 1955 in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph and Violet (Lapcevic) Fusco. David was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the harmonica, listening to music, was a good cook and loved being with his family and friends. He is survived by his stepson, Paul Klipa; brother, Joseph Fusco; aunt, Dorothy Cheselske; uncle, Lou Fusco; two nieces and numerous cousins. Thomas A. Baka, age 77 of McKeesport, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, Monday, March 11, 2019. He was born October 25, 1941 in Charleroi, the son of the late Michael A. and Mary Uchacz Baka. He worked as an electrician for U.S. Steel-Dravosburg and after retiring he loved driving for Access. He was devoted to the Lord, an usher and member of First Baptist Church, McKeesport for 37 years. He was a regular donor to the American Red Cross and a lifelong fisherman. He was an avid bowler all of his life, and his teammates named their league “Baka’s Pirates” in honor of him. Thomas enjoyed helping people in need and especially loved his family.

Patricia Clark McCusker, age 87, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of Glassport, died Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born in Mexico, Maine, on Nov. 13, 1931 and is the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Cecelia Bryant Mowat. She is the wife of the late Thomas J. McCusker who died March 12, 1991. She was preceded in death by siblings, James Mowat, Kirk Mowat, Terrence Mowat and Bonnie Mowat Fircak.
Patricia is survived by sisters-in-law, Virginia Mowat of Liberty Borough and Barbara Mowat of Mission, Texas; nieces and nephews, Timothy Mowat, Daniel (Dawn) Mowat, Heather (Richard Sherman) Mowat, Terri Lee (Dave) Petrillo, Jamie (Brian) Young, Heidi (Joe) Povinelli, Kirk Mowat, Kevin Fircak and Michel (Jenny) Fircak.
In addition to being a loving homemaker, Patricia was a waitress for the former Klein’s Restaurant in Pittsburgh for approximately 25 years, the business manager for the former T.J. McCusker Mechanical Contracting in Glassport, a retail specialist for the men’s suits department at Macy’s in Century III and Monroeville Malls, and also was very proud of her work as the house manager and volunteer for Family House in Pittsburgh.
Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm and also on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

Frank A. Speney, Sr., age 92 of Port Vue, passed away at home on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Born September 15, 1926 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late William M. and Anna (Reitz) Speney. Frank was a fixture in the automotive industry in the area as a consummate and professional salesman, starting his career with his father at the Palace Garage in McKeesport, selling Nash, Rambler, and Studebaker. He then opened Speney Chevrolet in West Newton, operating it for 52 years from 1958 until 2010. He also became a co-owner of the Palisades Ballroom in McKeesport, where he was able to practice one of his passions: dancing.
