Dorothy P. (Mikrut) Zych,75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born August 13, 1942 in McKeesport, PA and was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Helen B. (Romanek) Mikrut. Dorothy was a registered nurse and retired from Jefferson Hospital. Most recently, she worked with her husband in their music business. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon and was also a member of Braddock Hospital Alumni Association. She loved gardening, scrap booking, cooking, and relaxing at the beach. Her true love was spending time with her family and spoiling her three grandchildren. She was also an avid Penguins hockey fan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Albert J. "Al" Zych; son Richard J. Zych of Phoenix, AZ; daughters Lori L. (David) Duvall of Neptune Beach, FL, and Debi L. (Brett) Dennis of Williamsport, MD; grandchildren Brandon Dennis, Bradley Dennis, and Jacob Duvall; sister Linda (Ron) Sherer of North Huntingdon, as well as many special nieces and nephews.

She was a long time member of Linway United Presbyterian Church in North Versailles, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She worked in bookkeeping at Clean Linen in Wilkinsburg for over 30 years before retiring. She loved to participate with different square dancing groups in the area.
