Adele Webb was a New Orleans, La., native who migrated north to Clairton, Pa., to raise her family. She met her husband English Webb Jr., while he was studying at Xavier University School of Pharmacology. English and Adele married May 13, 1950 and was married for 66 years. Adele is survived by three sons, English, Joseph, Isaac and three daughters, Alita, Julie and Treena.

She was born in McKeesport on June 26, 1991 to her loving parents Donald Leonard Trainer of Turtle Creek and Rhonda (Ben) Cochran of Grover N.C. She was the loving partner to Sherwood Saunders of McKeesport to whom she often referred to as the love of her life. Dawn is survived by her beautiful daughter Hailey Jayde Trainer as well as her brothers Daniel Abell of Greentree, Paris Stevens of Grover N.C and Parker Stevens of Grover N.C. Dawn also leaves behind her beloved grandfather Ken Trainer of Dravosburg, her aunt Carol Daugherty (her favorite) of PortVue, her uncle John McGarrity of Tenth Ward, and partner in crime her cousin Destiny Daugherty of PortVue as well as many more beloved family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Charlotte Trainer and Uncle Chester Daugherty Jr. Some of Dawns favorite things to do were being on social media, and photography. Charles E. “Jap” Arrigo, 73, of West Newton, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed from this life peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2020, in the company of family and friends after a long-fought battle with a lingering illness. He was born on September 8, 1946 in North Charleroi, PA, the son of the late Joseph Arrigo and Esther (O’Hara) Arrigo.

Charles was a 1965 graduate of Charleroi High School where he excelled in baseball, basketball, football, and track. Charles played semi-pro football for the Wheeling Ironmen in the mid-60’s and was an assistant football coach for Belle Vernon High School under Bill Conners from 1985 through 1992. 

Charles served honorably for 25 years as a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper from November 7, 1969 until his retirement in 1994.

A man who grew up in Dormont and graduated from W&J, became the best oil marketer east of the Mississippi. A man who started a family and raised 3 amazing children. Michael C. Fisher, 39, of Jeannette went peacefully in his sleep and awoke in the arms of Jesus on April 22, 2020. Mike(Mikey) was the most caring and selfless man one could have ever had the pleasure to encounter. He loved his dog Junior and his family more than anything. He was a beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Mike delivered medical equipment to different facilities and would often stop and talk to the patients or sit with families who were grieving. He always stopped to check in on people, one of many of his charming attributes. A woman of faith, Mrs. Mary worshipped at Payne Chapel A.M.E for many years. She served on the Senior Usher Board and sang with the Martineer Choir. Colleen Diane Williams, age 67 of Liberty Boro, passed away on April 9, 2020.  Born in January 1953 in Augusta, GA, she is preceded in death by her parents Roy Francis (Pauline) Williams and Doris Jean Spano (Leger) as well as her sister, Marcia Williams.  Colleen spent much of her childhood as an “Army Brat” traveling the world before settling in Pittsburgh, PA in 1982 to raise her daughter Jessica “to move out” as she put it (see note about independence below).  She retired from the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, in 2005 after 30 years of government service and has been working for CVS Caremark since 2011.  

Colleen made friends wherever she went because she was the type of person that people were drawn to.  She possessed many admirable qualities - most notably her fierce independence, strength, determination, and optimism - unmatched by many.  Colleen was a dedicated mother, and she especially treasured quality time with her granddaughter Olivia, who brought immense joy to her life.  She enjoyed teaching and sharing with Olivia her love for gardening and cooking/grilling as often as possible, and she also tackled many home improvement projects, spent hours researching genealogy, and wrote countless poems. 

Colleen is survived by her daughter Jessica Stanko (Dave Lozecki); granddaughter Olivia Stanko; brother Mark Williams (Mary Hogan); sister, RoiLyn (John) Smith; half-brother, John (Shari) Domina; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.            

There is no visitation or service at this time; however, the family will plan a celebration of Colleen’s life at a later date.

As a young girl Helen gave her life to Christ, but, being one that didn’t like submersion of water or swim, she was reluctant to be baptized.  However, she was elated that she decided to be baptized in October 2018 at Bethlehem Temple Church of Duquesne, and was a joyous member of Payne Chapel AME Church of Duquesne, where she served on the Steward board.

She began the Pittsburgh Center for Step-Families where she counseled families through the process of becoming a step-family.  She was always a hard working and determined professional who eventually worked in Executive positions for organizations including The Make a Wish Foundation and Phoenix Memorial Hospital.

Joseph J. "Jose" McCormley, age 93 of Whitehall and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020  at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh.   He was a Treasurer/Controller for Ben Venue Laboratories.   Joseph was also a member of St. Germaine Church, Bethel Park and a former member of St. Clare Parish, Clairton.  He was a Corporal in the US Army Air Corp serving during World War II and a member of both the American Legion Post 75 and the Sons of Columbus, Santa Maria Council #4, both of Clairton. Born July 25, 1926 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Katherine (Flynn) McCormley.  Joseph was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth E. (McConnell) McCormley, his second wife Gail (Gawlas) Greenwald McCormley, his daughter Kathleen (Ray) Miller, and his brothers William M. McCormley and Dr. Robert McCormley.  He is survived by his daughters Ramsey Jeanne (John) Zarrella of Suisun, CA and Mary S. (the late Robert) Brushaber of Whitehall; his brother Don (Thelma) McCormley of West Mifflin; stepsons Randy Greenwald of Bonita Springs, FL and Ken Greenwald of Bowie, MD; nieces, nephews, and stepgrandchildren.  A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date.

Peggy L. Petrosko, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away March 31, 2020.  She was born March 14, 1938 in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late Victor and Pauline (Bildhauser) Dodds.  Peggy was a member of the Norwin Art League for decades.  She was a truly amazing and talented artist, creating wonderful pieces of art with both oil and acrylic paints. Many homes of family, friends, and even strangers are blessed to have walls adorned with one or more of Peggy’s paintings. Peggy brought beautiful color into all the lives she touched, with both her art and her heart. Peggy loved to be surrounded by those she loved. Every Christmas, Russian Christmas and even birthdays, she was so happy to fill her home with the joy and laughter from all those she held dear.
